Check-in was extremely slow and at 3PM (check-in time for the hotel) they had one clerk working at one of the desks and one other clerk that floated around with a frown on her face that just teased guests in the hopes she would begin to check them in, but rather and frequently just walked off to return a few moment later to do nothing. Hotel policy seemed to be to park large diesel buses beneath the balconys of the Southeast side of the building and allow them to idle there with no regard to the diesel fumes entering the rooms through both balcony doors and fresh air vents, nor the disturbance the noise caused. When questioned about it and asked to make it stop, the staff on the scene laughed at guests from two different rooms. Even upon check-out, when the issue was brought up, the front desk staff was very cavalier about it. Unfortunately, the mgmt of this property and their attitude to returning guests seems to have changed, so as a result, so will our choice of hotels.

The property itself is excellent. Staff is excellent. We would’ve liked to have a clean balcony with no spiderwebs, we would’ve liked to have two face cloths per room each day rather than just one, we would’ve loved to have toilet and tissue paper every day. The parking is $30 a day and we were unaware of that we find that very steep, they tell us that it’s on the website however it just says that there’s a fee for parking. Nowhere does it say $30 a day. We would’ve loved to have known this information we may have chosen a different place to park. The hotel itself and the accommodations were excellent. Very happy with our stay even if we have some negatives there.

Amazing Trip

It is a very good Hotel, central everything is close and you don't have to take your car out everything is in a walking distance. And the restaurant is good we had our breakfast and dinner over there.

We had an enjoyable stay at the hotel. It is located at a convenient location in Kingston where you can easily access restaurants and tourist attractions. The gym and pool are also quite lovely. The gym overlooks the waters which is an additional bonus. The restaurant at the hotel has a nice patio and the dinner menu has a good variety of options. The waitresses during dinner time were very friendly and courteous. However, the same couldn't be said about the staff during breakfast hours. They were so rude that we left and ate at the restaurant outside the hotel. I would definitely stay at the hotel again but just don't eat breakfast at the hotel's restaurant.

We had a great stay here, nice hotel in a great location. We walked almost every where on foot. The only disappointment is that since we had our dog with us we had to take one of the pet friendly rooms which are on the ground floor with no view at all although the hotel is located at a very lovely place with amazing lake view. I think it’s very disappointing.

Our first room overlooked the parking lot. We asked if we could be moved to overlook the lake. Because we booked through Expedia, not the hotel, they said they could not accommodate. However, the supervisor on staff did approve and moved us to the third floor, only the view was blocked by the only tree on on the property. Although it was very hot out, and thankful to have air conditioning, it was very loud. The restaurant was excellent, we had one dinner and two breakfast meals and both were very satisfying.

Me being whiny. Checking was a nightmare, AC in room is way too loud, and you hear everything that's going on in the hallways and on the decks outside, so don't expect to sleep in. Pluses...beds as super comfy, and you are within walking distance to everything you need.

Everything is nice except ac did not work. Mtce man came and wack the unit and it start working, but it stopped again while we were away for supper. I wack it and it went again. The mtce man say the unit need to be replaced.
