One of the reasons I booked this hotel was because there was a snooker table in the bar. This stay was a birthday weekend for my son who loves to play snooker. I checked this over the phone when booking. However there was a Christmas party and the table had been put away. We were significantly disappointed in this. It really did put a big downer on our stay. The pool was great though. Also the family rooms and not pet friendly so we were squeezed into a pet room with an extra bed. For a birthday present I would have liked this to have been perfect and it certainly was not that.

The family room was cosy in size but had a terrace with a sea view - the children loved the alcove with the bunk-beds. It was nice to be able to book the pool for a private family session. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfast was good, although a buffet would have been more convenient, if less fresh. And they charged extra for lattes, but the Americano was fine.

Great position on beach front and we had storms during our stay, so watching the waves crash onto the shore was mesmerising. Well presented hotel, everything we needed in our room, but have to say we didn't sleep well at all over the 3 nights we stayed. Our after-stay back twinges/ aches are the result of a too hard mattress and we believe a good quality topper could make a huge difference to the comfort and sleepability.

This hotel is a real gem, ideally situated right next to the beautiful beach, we went to sleep hearing the sound of the waves. The room was clean and had a proper hairdryer, so no fighting with keeping a button pushed in, and generous mugs for a lovely cup of tea, with biscuits! Lots of free parking right outside the hotel. Hotel staff were all super helpful.

this hotel needs a serious over haul - its only partly on the beach, the photos are very deceiving. Its worn - black mould around a shower is never a good look. If you are elderly and a coach party (which I was not) be prepared for standing at reception for about an hour for check in with nowhere to sit.

When we arrived at the Beachcroft we discovered that our twin bedded room was on the first floor. I made a request to change the room to one on the ground floor. The staff set to and prepared a ground floor room and arranged it as twin beds. This was achieved within 10 minutes of my request which I thought was excellent service. We booked a table for dinner and were very impressed not only with the menu but with the level of service which was first class. We took dinner on the second night and were once again given a high level of service. We would like to thank all of the staff for the service that we received. A very efficient hotel. We will definitely return and will pass on our experience to friends and family.

We were allocated room 58 and were delighted with the light, airy and spacious feel of the room. The sea view was 2nd to none and the shower one of the most powerful we've experienced. The bathroom looks like it has been recently renovated and there was plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. The breakfast was cooked fresh to order, had a great selection and was well worth the add on price. An excellent stay and would highly recommend if visiting the Bognor area.
