Hotel was great for what we needed. It was spacious and I was supprised we were offered amenities like toothbrushes and toothpaste. Overall it was fine. The sheets were dirty/stained when we arrived and they were not changed but we only stayed 2 nights. The staff was friendly and we really appreciated that we were able to leave our bags there.

Nice hotel to stay at an excellent reasonable price for 3 nights. Wish Hotel manager put easy direction from which subway rather than google map to walk uphill and downhill. The nearest subway is Hoehyeon station exit #1 for next tourists. Request for more packet decaf coffee at the front desk.

It says in the property ads, daily housekeeping,but the entire two weeks (+) that we stayed, they did not clean our rooms. They only changed our towels and empty the trash can. Staff is unavailable to answer the phone. The day that we arrived , we tried to call the hotel to get directions but nobody answered the phone. No breakfast available at all, even if you are willing to pay. . This made me sad. We stayed at this hotel nine years ago and they have free breakfast and it was a good spread. The property itself really had gone downhill from nine years ago. It will be hard to recommend this property to any of my friends and relatives.

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was far from pleasant due to the poor cleaning service. When we arrived, the room was clean however, that is when the cleaning service level went downhill. The room was not properly cleaned throughout the duration of our week long stay. Despite requesting housekeeping to empty our bins, sweep the floor, or change our towels/sheets, the staff either didn’t show up or did a rushed, superficial job. It really affected our overall experience. This hotel needs to improve its cleaning standards before we would consider returning.

The place is not a four star hotel. It is at best a three star hotel and even that is iffy. I’ll start with the good. The location is pretty good for seeing Seoul. It’s close to the cable car to Namsan Tower and Myeungdong. Can easily walk to both from the hotel. I’d say 10 to 12 minutes to the night market. If you go the other direction you can head over towards the palaces and such. The subway station is close and the street leading up to the hotel has a few local Korean restaurants and a small convenience store. There are a couple of coffee shops and a gelato place as well. So if you’re a tourist, this is a good location. The beds were comfy as well and the AC worked pretty well, although they can be kind of loud. Now the bad. The hotel is in need of updating. The carpet is worn, wallpaper peeling, and overall need of some love and care. I am Korean American and my Korean is limited, but I asked the front desk to call me a cab for my family of five. He tried for like 15 seconds and said he couldn’t do it. I messaged my cousin and he sent a car within 10 minutes. There is no laundry on premises. I talked to another front desk person, Filipina and she told me there is small laundry mat on the street which was obvious and of a dry cleaner. The dry cleaner is a super local place and I went in there and asked if he could do our laundry. He quoted 30,000 won and when I picked it up he said it was a lot so I gladly gave him another 10,000 won. Hope this helps.

Good place for good price

The room was spacious! However the TV and AC didn’t work! Bathroom has a weird layout! But overall, we had a pleasant stay! 18-20 mins walk to myeongdong st. Which was great! If you’re looking for an updated modern place this isn’t the place! We opted to stay here for one day with kids as we needed a spot for a few hours before we headed out. Aside from that, the front staff was nice and very kind. Would stay here again.

The hotel was fairly clean and its location was perfect(not too far from the subway station and there were many good restaurants and shopping centres). Staff was friendly and helpful, too. They also provide a ride to the airport with a reasonable price. I'd love to re-visit the hotel.
