There was nothing manifestly bad about this property, except the food. Service was reasonably good and the buildings were in good condition. Guests should be aware however, that the actual rooms in which people stay are disconnected from the main lobby building. The guest room buildings look as if they were originally built as military barracks or perhaps prison blocks. This is not to say that they are in bad condition, they are simply laid out in the manner of an institution rather than a place of rest and relaxation. When it's raining, the distance from the main building can be somewhat annoying. Finally, as other reviewers have noted, the food quality is extremely poor. It simply tastes bad. Presentation is good and the servers try to do their best. Unfortunately and quite incongruous to other places in Malaysia, many of the servers struggle with English. Overall, cost performance was good because the brooms were reasonably priced and clean.

Access to airport

The hotel was clean and comfortable and easy to get to from the airport for an overnight stay due to connecting flights. I liked that it had a shuttle to the airport but be aware it is only at limited times. I paid rather a lot for the accommodation as I have seen it nearly half the price but in was New Year Day so to be expected.

The hotel is overall very good. Nice, environmental friendly, clean and new. The only issue is that if you were assigned the most remote room, you may need to walk over 5 minutes from lobby to your room.

Late, broken, filthy.

Shuttle to airport was late, we had to order a car. There were cockroaches and worms in the hallways and mosquitoes in the room. The breakfast was all stale and the coffee machine didn’t work. The whole property feels like a prison, with doors that open and shut quickly via button which requires room key. Overall I would not recommend this hotel to anyone I like.

Very disappointed.

The hotel is very noisy and not sound proof. You can hear the planes every few minutes. Then you can hear other clients and workers throughout the night walking in and out. And they are noisy. On top of that the ceiling in my room keeps making noise every few minutes not sure if there are rats or something else. The staff are friendly and the food in restaurants are yummy. However I didn’t get a good night sleep because of all of the noise.
