The Merle's Nest is a small haven of peace in which you will feel like you are in a cocoon. This 40 m2 accommodation, quiet and elegant, has a large air-conditioned bedroom with a bathroom with bathtub and Italian shower and a fully equipped kitchen.
This cocoon, which is part of the 3 gîtes du Daudou, has a chalet extension with its own two-seater jacuzzi as well as a Finnish sauna for private use, as well as an open area with pretty garden furniture, and a terrace with bioclimatic pergola for outdoor lunch with its barbecue and plancha. Boulodrome available with loan of petanque kit. In summer, large outdoor area swimming pool and jacuzzi 6 seats. Mini animal park in the property.
The 2ha property is fully fenced. The first part hosts a small animal park. (alpacas, Ouessant sheep, wallabies, miniature horses, geese, ducks, Chinese pigs, etc.). The second part offers walking areas, gardens etc.
We are at the crossroads of the Aveyron, the Tarn and the Lot.
For walks, 300m away is the access to the Bois Redon with its PR (hiking walks). You can also visit Jude's Camp 2 km away. (memorial of the Spanish deportees). Don't hesitate to go and see the 2 dolmens of Septfonds.
For thrill seekers, the Paint Ball of St Georges 3 km away awaits you.
In the village of Septfonds, two small restaurants, a mini-market, post office and tobacconist's shop, petrol station and not to mention the Wednesday market.
7 km away is Caussade, the castle city with its factory to visit and its park on the promenade of the Lère. Jet skiing possible on one of the lakes.
Its Monday morning market will offer you local products.
An outing to be planned at 17km, St Antonin Noble Val, the entrance to the Aveyron gorges with its famous Sunday market, its canoeing and kayaking courses, the site of Fontalès, the Bosc caves and of course theand of course the city to visit.
