I absolutely enjoyed my short stay at Namib Desert Lodge

I came to Namibia to photograph the country, especially Deadvlei. I traveled 1000 miles in a 4x4 truck and I travel spontaneously without a strict itinerary. I needed a hotel to stay near the entrance to Namibi Naukluft Park and Sossuvlei Lodge was perfect!! It is located a 3-minute drive from the park entrance. It was perfect. While staying at the lodge, I was able to find dark space back behind my room and get incredible photos of the stars and the Milky Way. The lodge is beautiful and luxurious. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast and dinner were top-notched and included such interesting and delicious foods. I didn't realized until I checked out that this lodge is considered one of the best in the world! I whole-heartedly recommend Sossuvlei Lodge!

had a lovely stay at Desert Camp. Everything was super clean. The rooms are very spacious with a wonderful bathroom. The outside kitchen is fabulous with an incredible view of the mountains. They offer, at no cost, a box of kitchen utensils that has everything you would ever want (including a cast iron pan!)

This place has an excellent service. Amazing hotel. The view from the hotel is awesome. I also signed up for sunset and a day trip. Both trips were awesome. I highly recommend these trips.
