A very classic European hotel in the old part of the city with all the furnishings, appliances and room amenities you would expect.
I received a friendly greeting and a glass of water at the front desk on this very warm day. Very nice touch! Elisa at the front desk was more than helpful with maps and explanations of sites and restaurants within walking distance.
My room was very clean and smelled fresh. The two twin beds were firm and clean, and 2 bathrobes were placed neatly on the beds. The room included a nice-sized desk, a stand for my suitcase, two night stands with easy-to-reach light switches, a 48" TV, a mini fridge (stocked), coffee maker and ceramic cups, 4 good-sized mirrors and ample closet space. Closets contained a safe, extra blankets and pillows and an iron and ironing board. Next to the TV was a 40x30 inch framed painting of a jungle scene that immediately brought "The White Lotus" to mind. Maybe intentional, maybe not. I didn't see Piña Coladas on the menu, so maybe not??? The air conditioning worked very well and was quiet.
The bathroom is mostly modern and has an ample shower with a rain faucet. All very clean.
Very happy with my 2-day stay here!
