We had concerns before we got to the hotel based on the reviews but the apartment was awesome! The beds were ready for us with kids’ beds ready too and the kitchen functioned very well for us. The bedding was soft and felt pretty new. It was a comfortable stay. The location was great too. We can just walked to the lake with a bunch of unique houses and views.

Small room and average condition

The room is actually much smaller than what shown on the picture. The sign of this place is almost invisible from the street, very difficult to find it. The owner is very friendly.

Okay for one night if you visit Gufufoss

The rooms are a small compared to the pictures but good enough for one night. The wifi was not working and they don't have a reception, so we had to call the number and they told us it was working when clearly it was not, we even asked the people staying in the other apartments and they had the same problem. The lock of the door wasn't working, so we couldn't lock it when we went for dinner, I know that Iceland is a really safe country but still, privacy would be nice.

Besser als aktuelle Bewertungen es suggerieren

Bei der Buchung waren die Bewertungen noch ziemlich gut, kurz vor der Abreise waren sie ziemlich schlecht und wir befürchteten das Schlimmste. Zum Glück hat sich dies nicht bewahrheitet, es hat alles funktioniert und die Unterkunft war in Ordnung. Einzig das WLAN fiel immer mal wieder aus. Es gibt sicher bessere Unterkünfte hinsichtlich Preis/Leistung, wir würden aber wieder da übernachten.
