The hotel was modern, and the bedding and all the amenities were very clean. The daily housekeeping service was excellent and very satisfying. All the staff were incredibly kind and always willing to help, which I really appreciated. The breakfast offered a wide variety of both Chinese and Western options, which was great. Although it’s not located right in the city center, you can easily take a Didi taxi to get there. The subway station is just a 1-minute walk away, and there are supermarkets, food courts, and everything you need nearby. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a clean, modern place that isn’t overly crowded.

Check-in hotel is smooth , front counter stuff is very polite , room is nice, buffet is normal standard but the bonus is they have a fresh fruit juice everyday , the first day when I went to their Restaurant for my breakfast the stuff there is very polite and nice and good service, very impressed me but one of the Saturday I request a mix fruit juice , the person in charge of the Department staff told me I have to wait, I replied to him is ok I can wait then he pulled a long face , the last 2nd Day before we are going to check out, me and my hubby went for a breakfast there is a funny thing happens to us ,when we walked near to the restaurant entrance , one of the staff saw us then he pulled on his black face and turn his head and walked away, like us own him money , you don have to greet us every day, I'm not urge for that, at least don't show me your funny black face .

Helpful and friendly staff

I like to commemorate the staff at the gym. Mr Steven is very helpful and friendly, he not only kept the gym area clean but also constantly going around sauna area to make sure the place is clean and tidy. Another staff that o like to commemorate is Mr Daniel from the concierge. He helps us to check on location that we want to go and go the extra miles to tell the taxi driver where to drop us as my old age mum is together with us. Really enjoy the stay in Renaissance Shanghai Putuo Hotel. Thanks for giving us a pleasant stay. Cheers😀
