The only problem was that you can not pull in front of the hotel because it’s only pedestrian access and was never mentioned when booked. This could be an issue when you have a lot of baggage. Other than that, the hotel was great

Great place in central Sheffield that is clean and friendly - parking is quite difficult unfortunately. Restaurant bar is also not open late in the evening, would stay again though.

Great hotel; clean, comfy, friendly staff. But £220 for 1 night is over-priced (cheapest i could find in Sheffield, but still)

Unfortunately cycle race going on and blocking use of the car park that you were supposed to pre book with a discount code. Fortunately the discount code would not work as has it done so I would have paid for parking that I could not use. Upgraded room by the reception free as way of an apology. Unfortunately then having dinner the starter was frozen…sent back and the chef, warmed up the cold starter to unfreeze it, rather than just replace it! Not a great stay to be honest and would choose another hotel in the future.

Convenient city centre location, but quiet inside hotel, apart from a nearby clock tower which chimes every 15 minutes and can be heard from inside. Rooftop restaurant and bar with lovely views. Modern room with high ceilings, AC and fridge in room. Room 4/5 because bathroom was very small, no coffee machine, robe or slippers (as you usually get in other hotels in this price range).

Quite disappointing

Pretty disappointing compared to my last stay. When I checked in to my Superior Room had two single beds pushed together rather than a King Bed as advertised. Got lost trying to find reception again (why have two receptions with one unmanned?)-l and then when I got there the lady was adamant it was acceptable to shove two beds together and call it a King. Thankfully her male colleague had a bit more about him and managed to find me a room with an actual King bed. Although I found it quite amusing when he tried to call it an ‘upgrade’ because it had a view of the drunks making their way home in front of the Peace Gardens! New room was fine albeit the TV didn’t really work - signal only seemed to work for BBC1 and even that was quite patchy. Won’t be staying here again in a hurry which is a shame as I had as great stay last time.
