Great location, but . . .

Fabulous location but if you like reliable hot water and sufficient light in your bedroom and a comfortable mattress and pillows, this may not be your place! We were disappointed that our host checked us in promising to fix a lighting problem that they clearly could not fix and never followed up. We had to phone for help when our hot water disappeared; this is apparently a frequent issue and they told us over the phone how to restart the water heater. There were no cleaning supplies in the kitchen, and only soap in the bathroom. The mattress had springs sticking up and the pillows were bad. The so-called 2nd bedroom was really a narrow hallway with 2 twin beds along one wall and no light. We had to move a lamp from another room. Perhaps fine for 2 kids but not for adults. Also there were steps in the 2nd bathroom, not good for anyone who gets up in the night to use the bathroom.
