You won’t find a better place to stay in Siena.

If you’re going to stay in Siena, you’ll find no better place to stay than at the Villa Del sole. Getting around in this city by car is extremely difficult and you can get parking here although you do have to pay €35 a night. It’s absolutely worth the price as you can walk to the two main sites in Siena, the Campo and the Duomo as well as numerous restaurants. And the villa does have its own restaurant, although we didn’t eat there. The room was spacious and had a large couch for sitting. The bathroom was also a good size and the shower was twice the normal size. The people at the front desk couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. Lastly, the breakfast couldn’t be beat. You can get eggs cooked three different ways and there’s so many other things to eat you won’t be disappointed.

This is a beautiful property and it is fully stocked with everything you will need. We cannot praise Claudio and his staff enough. We truly enjoyed our stay and the beautiful Siena surroundings. The property is extremely close to the city center but far enough to enjoy a tranquil setting. Claudio has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. We had two different kinds of hand soap which I really appreciated. Water was provided daily at the bar, and breakfast was delightful. Wine, espresso, drinks are all available for purchase. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating reasonable request. If we are ever back I Siena, I know exactly where I’m staying. Thanks again Claudio!

Lovely hotel in a convenient setting.

An absolutely gorgeous hotel which is convenient for exploring the city. The room was very comfortable, clean and a delight to stay in. The only downside, the walls seemed very thin, giving no insulation, so we could here theother guests in other rooms, was a bit of a distraction when we needed an early night!

We have travelled extensively through Europe for the past 2 years and the Villa del Sole has to be one of the best and amazing hotel we have ever stayed in. Staff was sooooooo friendly and helpful. Even showed us the easiest and best way to get to the Piazza del Campo without going up and down the hills, lol. Breakfast was great, good selection. The best, mind blowing view of Siena you will find. We want to thank everyone for the friendly and generous service that was offered. We are definitely coming back!

This is an elegantly renovated property in close walking distance to Piazza Del Campo. The staff are very helpful and breakfast was simple but tasty. The views of Sienna are lovely…book a room with a view!
