This place is a small piece of paradise, a few steps and you are in Siesta Beach. It’s so quiet considering it’s in a corner lot with lots of human and vehicle traffic. The ambiance is so lively yet cozy because people are well behaved and friendly. We will definitely come back.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Marlin residence. The outside pool was very clean and accommodating. Great communication with the property in the answered all our questions in a timely and expedient manner. We loved our stay. Traveling with two small children six months in two years old it was everything we were hoping for

Best Place Ever!

This is the best place to stay in Siesta Key and overall best place. Everything was very clean, the AC works so good specially during hot weather the room stays very cold. The bed was so comfortable and cleaned. This place has the best customer service I have ever experienced. Very sweet, helpful, and caring. There was a night were we forgot our password getting in and I sent them a email since it was after hours saying we needed the password and they called immediately after I sent the email, Checking if we were okay and if we needed help. This place is across from the beach like a 5 minute walk very close and the village is also right around the corner. I recommend this place 100%.

As I booked this trip through Expedia I was at first a little confused/misled at what Siesta Key Island Rentals was. Let me be clear in saying that these are not condo rentals or a hotel, these are not all located in the same area nor do they all have the same amenities! With that said the rental we chose was called “the yellow cabin”. And I can say it was worth every penny. We traveled by plane for this vacay which limited what we were able to bring. I was a little worried about missing out on the beach fun or spending a gazillion dollars on things we would essentially have to leave behind. When I tell you this place supplied everything, I mean it! A beach wagon, umbrella, cooler, beach chairs, sand toys, rafts, boogie boards… there was nothing I wanted for during our time on the beach! The location was quiet and while not on the beach it was a short 200ft walk to the sand! The cottage was adorable, and perfect for our family of 4. Walking distance to a mom and pop grocery store and multiple stores/restaurants while still feeling like we were staying in a quiet little neighborhood. From the owner to the property managers, to the maintenance men, everyone we dealt with was polite and accommodating! Can’t wait to stay again! Thank you!

We had a very pleasant experience working with Siesta Key Island Rentals. Communication was smooth and professional from start to finish, making the entire booking process easy and stress-free. The unit itself was perfect—clean, comfortable, and ideally located. We were able to walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops without ever needing a car. Would definitely rent with them again and highly recommend to anyone visiting Siesta Key!

Property listing and details very misleading. Property manager/owner very rude and barges into unit unannounced, without even knocking. 3 beds and 2 bedrooms in the unit but owner states property is only for 2 people max occupancy. A/C quit working overnight and left to wait overnight and until next afternoon for repair service to show up. About the only real positive thing here is the location.

The Mermaid was perfect for us; clean, well equipped, great location to Siesta Key Beach (4-5 minute walk), heated pool, they supply beach chairs - umbrella - beach towels - wagon. It had everything you need. The Siesta Key Island Rental team were outstanding to deal with, from start to finish their communication was perfect. We will be back!

This place felt like home. It was so clean! I have never felt so comfortable being so far from home. It was a walkable distance to the most beautiful beach and there were shops close by. I would stay here a million times over.
