This was by far the best place we have stayed in Europe this year. The apartment was very clean and well appointed. The three bedrooms have comfy beds and quality linens. The hosts were absolutely fantastic and even brought us an orchid to brighten up our day. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Wonderful host, superior cleanliness, comfort is a failure

Denka and her husband are friendly people. The kitchen and bathrooms are very nice. They keep the apartment very clean. There are two qualities we look for in vacation properties, cleanliness and comfort. They pass with high marks on cleanliness but are an absolute failure on comfort. The beds are horrible, a 4" slab of foam on a bunky board. There are no comfortable seats except for the outdoor chairs on the deck. Parking can be a problem as there are 3 apartments in the building all of which were occupied. With no turn space I had to back down the narrow drive on a hill side. Denka does not give any warning in advance of booking an apartment.

Great apartment, great host

Fabulous quiet location with stunning view across lake Thun to the Bernese alps. Well kitted-out & very comfortable beds. Great base for a great week exploring.
