Absolutely appalling experience! The hotel prioritized an event, booking every room except ours. The event overtook the pool area with blaring music and screaming girls for over 5 hours, making it unusable. To make matters worse, we discovered uncleaned feces behind the toilet in our room and rats scurrying around the main pool area. Despite our complaints to the staff, the noise was unbearable, even on the top floor, drowning out the TV. We were forced to leave the resort and spend hours elsewhere to escape the chaos. The noise continued until after 11 pm, ruining our stay. We had an overnight stay here before our 17hr journey home. We strongly advise against this resort - the lack of consideration for guests and unsanitary conditions make it a place to avoid at all costs!

The property is not maintained and is in the centre of a building site. You should not have it as a hotel on your site until the building work is complete. The rooms were dirty, we had hot water and TV failures. The decking around the pool is dangerous. The hotel will be knocked down or renovated and renamed at some stage. You should not be offering this property to your clients at this stage.

Staff was great but there is construction everywhere , including the beach. I suggest taking the boat to one of the small islands near by. They are paradise.

Nice sport

Great staff, nice location :) Always remember to use Passapp to order transportation, 2-3 times cheaper than what the driver want you to pay. Then showed what the app says it should be, drivers usually do not say anything back.

The stay was great. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Very poor road conditions caused us to many time sitting in traffic whereas we could have done a tour. Boat trip to islands was funtastic. Had a great time

It was difficult to check in. They could not find me on their list so it too awhile to check in but didnt explain the reason. The room was very rusty and humid. Our phone was broken. Be careful with getting a tuktuk through the hotel. They didnt tell me the price when I asked and I had to pay for 25$. I used Passapp and had to pay only 8$ when going back to hotel. But their private beach was nice.

Nice for a few days

The room was lovely and comfortable and the staff were very nice. Our only complaint is that the toilet, tap and shower water smelled and was a dirty colour, we didn’t really know what to do about that. The pool was nice and there was a little town to walk to with shops and restaurants.

Great place to stay near the beach.

Cleanliness is OK. It's near the beach. So every guest would have the chance to bring sand back to Hotel. Quality of service is very nice. The staffs are helpful. Even when our son got sick, they even come with us to see the doctor.

The beach forgives everything...

Was pretty nervous about our booking here due to reviews we had read. Overall our visit was good, but there were a few things that could be improved. I had arranged a hotel pick up from the airport, and when we arrived at 10pm no one was there to pick us up so we had to negotiate our own taxi and hope our driver took us to the right place. When I advised the staff they didn't organise the car they didn't respond and/or care. We were taken to our room, which wasn't the room type we had booked. No explanation was given until I questioned the staff member who told us to sleep in this room, and they would sort something out in the morning. He then promptly left. Anyway, everything else is quite nice, the beach is beautiful, the breakfast is pretty tasty, the staff leave a bit to be desired. I would love to come back to Otres Beach, but woould probably look at other hotels on the strip before booking here again.

Fantastic stay at the Mary Beach hotel

We were really happy with our hotel room which was facing the beach directly. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. The only con is the water pressure in the bathroom was not that great. It was only about a 30 second walk to the beach which was like staring into an oasis and there were plently of restaurants. We will definetly be back

I’m Cambodian living abroad my Khmer might be limited but my understanding of the language is not, I know when I’m being insulted and I know when I’m being talked about behind my back. The staff at this hotel is Rude, and all are obnoxious. The room was terrible, it had dead insects and animal faeces all over the floor and looked as if it had never been cleaned. The bath room was disgusting it had human faecal matter splattered on the wall and urine stains behind and around the toilet bowl, not to mention the plumbing issues of both the dirty bathtub and toilet. The hotel is falling apart and The staff don’t seem to care. Don’t get sold into the amenities that Expedia advertised with on its website, don’t get sold on the fact it might be heavily discounted as this is no better than living in a hut with a hole dug for a toilet, and personally I would have rather paid $80 odd dollars for that per night. This hotel is not for families, nor would I recommend to house animals. I fear there maybe health risks attached to staying here.

Lovely quiet beach front hotel

We had a wonderful time here. The staff were amazing and pretty much dropped everything if you asked for something. The rooms were great and cleaned daily. All mod cons but i guess your not staying in your room the whole time!! The restaurant for breakfast was good (be ready that the local dogs amd cats roam or sit at your feet but they are clean amd friendly) The facilities were good..mainly.pool ans sauna..the gym.needs to be updated but i guess you have a 8km beach front to run/walk along. Theres plenty to do here and its at the quiet end of the beach but still walk around and you would be amazed at how many little hotels are there and people. Bring insect repellent!!! And slip slop slap as the sun is deadly Great hotel amd if i come again ill stay
