Compare Ski Hotels in Silver City

My wife and I stayed in February for a snowmobile get-away. The small cabin was just perfect for us and our little golden doodle. Everything we needed for a few day stay was there. Brandi was a perfect host and communication was excellent with her. For those lookng to snowmobile, the cabin is just a short 1/4 mile ride to a main trail. We will definitely be back some day. We’d recommend Porkies Outpost for dinner, the owners are great there. Also Gigi’s for morning coffee or later day wine hour in Ontonagan. Great stay. 5 stars!

This place was so great! We came here because there was a pool and we wanted to take our kids (5yrs & 7) on a snowmobile trip. We were so unbelievably impressed with the staff. The hotel was clean, welcoming environment, coffee/tea and hot chocolate when you come in, great breakfast, everything so clean and organized and again, the staff was SO KIND. My kids left some stuff, one was a very important stuffy and Jonna spent over and hour tracking it down, calling house keeping at home asking if they saw it, just another example of how amazing they are, she was great our entire stay. I could go on longer, but you get the picture. Staff gets a 20 out of 10 easily!

Host is nice with good communication

Great House - lots of room and well furnished. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, nice furniture and everything was clean.

A simple clean comfortable home base

We had a wonderful stay in this house! It was clean, well-stocked (they've thought of just about everything you might need), and very convenient for the Porcupine Mountains State Park. Getting there was easy, and the instructions were clear. If you're looking for "fancy" accommodations, you really won't find them in this area - keep in mind that these are simple houses originally built to house miners and their families. But if you want comfort and convenience, this definitely fits the bill.The hot tub was great! One thing that guests should know is that it takes a long time to heat up from the default temperature. Make sure to read the instructions (in the House Manual, but also available online), and let it heat up at least overnight with the cover on top. Believe me, it's worth it!
