My partner and I stayed at Furama City Centre for 9 nights in September and had a fantastic experience. The location is excellent — right between Clarke Quay and Chinatown MRT stations, giving us easy access to everywhere we wanted to go in Singapore. Check-in was fast and easy, and our double room was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely city view. We appreciated having a fridge in the room, and the hotel was quiet and relaxing after a day out exploring. There’s a large mall with a grocery store just opposite the hotel, and we loved being able to walk to Clarke Quay for dinner and drinks in the evening. Maxwell Food Centre is also just a 10-minute walk away — perfect for trying local dishes. Housekeeping came every 3 days, which worked well for us. The area has plenty of great restaurants and bars, and felt very safe and convenient throughout our stay. Highly recommended for couples looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel in the heart of Singapore. We’d definitely stay again!

Stayed at Furama City Centre for 9 nights September 25 room 1221. It’s only about a block from Chinatown, across the road is chinapoint and MRT and in opposite direction Clarke Quay not more than 15 min. All the buildings from furama to quay have walkways connecting them. So many restaurants on both side of river. Boat Quay has so many different types of restaurants with outdoor seating along river. The colourful old hill police station is there and a little further on the Fullerton and Merlion. So a pretty good place to stay. It cost $35 with a taxi from airport a bit pricey. But because we had no idea about using MRT that’s the option we took. Room was a little dated but is comfy, clean, good size. Same with bathroom. For some reason we were given a room with twin beds, nevertheless pretty comfy. Remember to bring a USB for charging because there are none in the room. Also make sure you have your apps for tv services eg Netflix, Prime etc because tv has casting. If you’re from Oz apps like Kayo wouldn’t allow access and not even with a VPN. There is only a kettle and fridge. If you run out of sugar, tea, coffee or need extra towels they are next to the elevator there is a box to help yourself. Also in the corridor is a water fountain on the wall to fill bottles with or the carafe you have in your room (only room temp water). A good idea for the environment. Housekeeping tends to room every 3 days and do a great job. Our stay included breakfast. Some mornings hot food items

It’s a handy location for a mid-range hotel. Beds were comfy and facilities basic but everything you need. It’s a bit tired but renovations are underway. The hotel is very close to the MRT and buses, making it easy to get around. Can walk to many places except for the heat and tropical downpours.

Rooms were a bit tired in facilities and decor. The hotel was going through some modernization so we came at the wrong time! Note we booked family room where the bathroom facilies are enclosed by glass walls; privacy was a concern even though there were blinds and frosted glass. Otherwise stay was good..staff very nice & helpful, breakfast great and central location.
