Singapore rooms are very small by western standards and Singapore is hot year round, with that said, the room was very nice, quiet, well located with easy access. There is a food court accross the street ( from the front look right) that covers just about everything you can think of, plus shopping. Plan your day like a local, start early, or start late, bring water, and plan on a chance of rain.

our room on the 5th floor. odour came out from the toilet make me feel very uncomfortable. hope the hotel management will seriously look into it.

I had made booking and payment with Expedia online. Upon checking in time, my guest is unable to check in becuase this Hotel 81 Lavender do not recognised Expedia. Expedia staff called the Hotel and still unable to solve the checking-in problem, my foreign guest had to wait for more than 3 hours and still unable to check-in. In the end, I had to make an extra trip down to this hotel personally and made payment before my foreign guest is allowed to check in to the Hotel.
