We love the location, Watching the sale boats go by was a very special treat! The room and accommodations were very nice and the staff was very helpful. The only complaint was that the air conditioner did not cool the room enough, so we had to open the door, and the light woke us up very early in the morning. I would suggest curtains which block the light so that the guests can sleep late.

Hot rooms

No AC, room was crazy hot and couldn’t open the windows without swarms of flies coming in. Staff was friendly but it’s fairly outdated, this is definitely not a 4* property.

A nice hotel, but mislead about the gym

The service and food was fantastic and the view of the lake was great. It felt like a 4* hotel. The only reason I have left the total average review of 3 star is that we chose this hotel because it's advertised as a wellness hotel with a gym. We struggled to find the gym as the signage didn't go anywhere. When asking we were told it was upstairs and to continue looking. After searching the all the floors in detail we asked reception who said they don't have a gym, and that it was replaced with a kids play area. My girlfriend explained to reception that we only chose this hotel for the gym, and no goodwill gesture was made from them.

Close to dock, easy access to Tihany, that's all

Pros: - Food - actually quite nice buffet for breakfast and dinner - Some english speaking (basic) staff - Close to the dock so you can take the ferry to Balaton and Tihany quite easily for day trips Cons: - I forgot my charger - the hotel information said that they can provide with chargers and adaptors but when you ask them, its an outright nonono we don't have that - Furnishings are quite old - the aircon is rather noisy and isn't very powerful (especially when it is hot) - Wifi - I was on the ground floor and while the service will show 1 bar of reception, I could not maintain 1-2mins of wifi connection at all. How disappointing Overall, decent time at the hotel. Many quality of life things that could improve on though.

Great lake side comfort

Wonderful and positive surprise after a day riding the motorcycle. The hotel is very comfortable and the room are spacious, the bed is great and the view fantastic! The service is very friendly and helpful too. Very good value overall

Great stop before Budapest!

We decided to stop by this place on our way to Budapest from Vienna. Excellent location - right on the lake, beautiful location for evening walk and sunset. The rooms are clean, the hotel staff is very friendly, breakfast and dinner were both nice big selection with vegetarian options. The hotel has a very nice and clean pool and hot tub as well.

Would Stay There Again

The hotel is situated at the Lake Balaton. The room was sizeable, modern, well equipped with a lake view. Both the room and bathroom were clean. Staff was polite and helpful. Both breakfast and dinner were good, I especially enjoyed the latter. Wellness area was good and clean. My only issue was that I have found the water in the swimming pool too cold.

Spa could have been better, it felt like it was part of the pool area. Not enough "ZEN"!!!
