Excellent place and location!!

We had an awesome time at your home. It was very nice place to stay. We will definitely come back again when we are in the area. Only a couple of things that needs improvement. The backyard gate on the east side needs to latch. I had to use a bungee cord to keep the gate from opening. The other is the southwest bedroom and the smaller bedroom. Both needs a regular mattress. They only had a small cushion that my family said it was uncomfortable. Other then that, it was an amazing place to stay.

Good place to stay in Sioux Center, Iowa

We easily booked the home online. Everything worked well. The house was clean and ready for us. Would certainly recommend this place as a place to stay. Very nicely located in the heart of Sioux Center, in the older part of town near Dordt college. Very pretty neighborhood. Would be great for a walk on a summer day, but we were there in the heart of winter. If you do come in the summer, they have some bicycles for you to use. Note the garage is not as deep as it was originally. They have added a laundry off the kitchen that intrudes into the garage; therefore, long vehicles may not fit in the garage. Our XT4 did fit, but it is fairly short car. It would be nice if the owners would provide a garage door opener remote, but we didn't see one. There is a hot tub! It's not listed, so it came as a surprise. Makes up for the shortened garage? There is a fireplace with firewood, but a note said not to use it. Not sure if that is temporary out of use or permanent. If you need a fireplace, you should ask about using it. There is an artistic ladder that hangs above your head over one of the beds. We found this a little scary. We suggest they take the ladder off the ceiling and hang it on a wall. Overall, a very nice place to stay. We will likely stay there again on our next trip and would recommend it to anyone needing a place in Sioux Center.

we enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed. Home was clean. Towels and wash cloths were a little worn but worked. Our grandchildren came by and enjoyed the back yard and the games in the basement, and we had a nice family birthday dinner. Would stay again.

Perfect Stay!!!

This property was fantastic! We're a fussy group and I didn't know whether I'd be solo or have 5 guests. I had 8 guests over 3 days and we had a wonderful time. I want to come back just for the relaxation. If I'd known there was an iron, a fan, and some other accoutrement, it would have saved me space and time. I'd prefer lamps by the beds instead of just overhead lighting in the bedrooms, but, honestly, I had such a great time relaxing in the rest of the house that when I got to bed I was tired and relaxed as $@*#. I came for a funeral and discovered a beautiful house in a lovely neighborhood in a perfect area. My friends and I came in from NY, MA, ME, WI, and PA. I hope this VRBO listing lasts forever. Clean and wonderful quiet neighborhood

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was a clean place but underneath the couch there was trash my infant almost ate before I caught it... also the couch is very old and sunken in. We would have really enjoyed to sit out in the covered porch but there were SO many spiders I couldn't. That was a shame. The cooking pans were also pretty dirty where I had to clean them before using. Otherwise, it was very enjoyable and a great place. We would stay there again. There are just a few things I hope the owners improve on for the future.

Great home

This place was perfect! We were only here for a very short time, but we felt quite comfortable here. The neighborhood is super quiet and it was close to everything we needed while we were in the area. Bedding is nice, basements has entertainment for our children, and the shower was relaxing. :) Thanks for a great place!

The house was very clean and nicely updated. We had a small set back with our check in but the manager was quick to respond and fix the situation! We did find that there were not 2 pull out couches so we were short one bed which was disappointing. Overall we were happy with our stay.

Perfect Getaway

We were looking for a place to stay for a wedding. I misread when the VRBO was so instead of Sioux City I got Sioux Center and I’m so glad I did. The house was perfect for us. The three bedrooms were just right. The bathroom has a bathtub and a large shower, and heated floors! They had a Keurig which was perfect. The kitchen had all the things we needed for making meals. They neighborhood was beautiful and we felt very safe. The hot tub was wonderful! There’s game tables in the basement and and extra bed. There are TVs in most rooms with Hulu. Disney+, etc. available. The couches were very comfortable and roomy. There was a park about 19 minute walking distance. It was fun to hang out. We would rent here again!

Owner cancelled our reservation the day prior to check-in.

The property looked ideal for our group of 4-5 people (some with special needs), so made the reservation. However, the reservation was cancelled the day before our stay; therefore, putting us in a bind to find other lodging during a homecoming weekend in the area. To complicate things, my computer crashed that same day so had to look for options without that aid. I'm not able to monitor whether my payment was credited to the Visa account or not. I have little to no confidence in rentals by owners -- this was my first rental but I've been promoting it to others in the past.
