The room with the private pool was awesome. The staff was exceptional, friendly, helpful and polite. The restaurant is great, the menu amazing and the service is word class. We can only recommend all activities they offer. The guides are very knowledgeable and make you feel safe and taken care of.
What an incredible place! I arrived a bit under the weather and they took such amazing care of me. What a breathtaking place! Top notch food, spa, room and overall service. We were able to see a sloth cross the river and climb back up to the tree. Simply amazing. Thank you!
My husband and I stayed here for two nights at the end of June and it was spectacular. The food, service, activities, spa, and grounds exceeded our expectations. We were a part of the first group of rafters allowed into (and out of) the lodge following the torrential rains and at no time did we feel unsafe. We also took advantage of the opportunities to use the spa, partake in the canyoneering and canopy tours in addition to the waterfall hike. All of which we highly recommend. Truly the only drawback is that nothing dries here and there's a pervasive dampness, but then again it is the rainforest so that's to be expected.
Amazing! 5 star food and 5 star service, all of the people who work here are truly genuine people. Your guide for white-water rafting will also be the person taking you on hikes, zip-lining, and your food order at dinner. It is a small group of hard-working people who enjoy their jobs. We will definitely be going back!
A great way to experience white water rafting effortlessly. The first day we were picked up in San Jose on time by one of the guides, who provided local country information during the drive. We stopped at lunch at a restaurant in the countryside with a nice view. At the river another guide Evan provided perfect safety info without being too intimidating. Rafting the first day was very mild with a nice short hike up to a water falls and pond for swimming. We arrived at the lodge with a short description of the facility, hot outdoor shower, and walking guide by Evan to a beautiful falls. The bungalow was 5* but no electric which was perfect with candlelight and flashlights. River rapids, Howler monkeys and other sounds serenaded us to sleep and we awoke to the same. Rafting the second day was more exciting and rigorous but we were prepared by the first days experience. Absolutely beautiful river! Excellent lunch on the river.
Evan was an excellent guide with great rafting skills and our team was fun so we had a great time.
The price was higher than other hotels but well worth the experience because the service was excellent.
The Expedia price did not include transportation and rafting that cost the two of us an additional $280.
