Sheets and pillows on queen bed were horrible. A few lights need replacing. No door to stairs to the downstairs room, very dangerous. Sliding doors on upper deck were broken or screen off tract. Very busy street with bushes that need to cut back in order to be able to see oncoming traffic to pull out of driveway.

Came up for my brother's bachelor party. Great place to hang out. It just felt warm and comfortable. Beautiful cabin. Close to town and the marina. Honestly didn't want to leave. Will definitely look into renting this location again. The host was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend.

Excellent Stay!

Our family visit to this cabin was absolutely wonderful! It is such a charming cabin surrounded by trees with a beautiful view of the lake. This cabin worked out perfectly for our Clemson University visit. We appreciated that the location of the cabin provided easy access to a main road. Also, we were thankful that the driveway provided plenty of space for our cars. We had such a delightful time walking to the boat dock, enjoying the lake, grilling our dinners, and relaxing in the chairs on the scenic deck. We were very pleased to find high standards for cleanliness on the inside of the cabin. The touches that the owners made with the décor and with the amenities just made us smile. They were so kind to leave a basket of snacks for our arrival! Honestly, one of the best parts of our stay was the owners. It is a bit of a leap of faith choosing a vacation home rental. These owners were prompt at responding and so warmhearted in their communication. We’re grateful for our time spent at this cabin!

Six Mile lake house

My husband and I stayed here with our adult children and their partners. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us and we were quite comfortable. The stairs to the lake were good exercise (!) and the lake area very private. We made s’mores with the fire pits. A friendly stray cat kept us company whenever we were outside. It was a bit of a drive to the things we wanted to see, but if you are ok with that and the stairs I would definitely recommend this house!

The house is nice and accommodated all of us very well. Plenty of space. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond. The cove we were in on the lake was pretty peaceful though there were workers next door most days so some construction noise was heard along with the workers playing loud music. The lake location was great. Close to the middle so we had easy access to lots of the main points of interest by boat. The dock was a little tricky to use with a pontoon boat and required some skill in parking without running aground. The one main draw back that renters should be aware of was that the house is on a busy road so expect a good amount of traffic noise as well as a need to monitor children and pets closely.

Gorgeous property on a beautiful body of water! Not used to walking that many stairs… but it was definitely worth it! My husband & I took 5 teenagers with us for the week & hauled our pontoon. Easy access to put the boat in just across the cove. The only thing that was tad difficult/tricky was getting in & out of the driveway, especially with such a large boat/trailer. Overall, an excellent stay & would love to do it again!

Our Stay was "Bananas"

We came to this house so we could attend the Savannah Banana's baseball game! I don't know which was better! This house or the game! It was only about 20 minutes from the football stadium. The house was just as expected from the website description. I am grateful for the reasonable price for such a beautiful place to stay where we could make some great memories with family and friends. Will definitely come here again.

Beautiful lake home!

We had a high school girls Bible retreat. Loved the porches, firepit and windows overlooking the lake! Everything worked and was as advertised. Loved the separate area downstairs and the ice maker! There are steep steps down to the lake so not good for physically challenged people but nice dock and kayak. Would highly recommend!phphysically challenged individuals.

For the price/ could have been better

Overall the cabin was nice. I would say if you are elderly or have small children it is not for you. Too many stairs to get to the lake. Also, I think the setup is hard as the sitting area is in the bottom floor. The bathrooms could have been cleaned better. The ice fridge and mini fridge on the bottom floor did not work and had mildew in them. Lastly,it is really close to the road so if you are a light sleeper you will hear the traffic at all hours.

Great cabin

We had a great stay at this cabin. The accomodations were great. We had enough space, the view was great, the lake was warm and fun. Beds were comfortable and overall we had a great stay. Communication with the owner was great, they were quick and easy to work with. They really helped our stay to be good. A couple things to know. The walk to the lake is quite a hike down the steps. It looks closer than it is. We didn't end up using the outdoor fire places because there were massive spiders everywhere. The kids were a bit spooked by those. One area needing correction was the tub. The tint is facing the wrong way. The prison in the tub can't see downstairs, but the people downstairs can see into the tub area if the person stands up.

Family Weekend

We went out to the lake for Clemson’s family weekend. This was a great cabin for the 6 of us. The only thing I wish it had were some stand up paddle boards to explore the lake. It sits in a cove and has great tree coverage so it was not too hot. We would definitely come back.
