The market sits on the cobbled area either side of the main thoroughfare the Aireville Park with its swimming pool and fitness centre is worth a visit. Skipton is famous for the canal with runs through the town. Why not sit outside one of the many cafés and tea rooms and watch the canal boats meander on through or enjoy an evening stroll along the canal side. You can even book a day’s boat ride and enjoy the stunning Yorkshire Dales countryside from the water. The west coast town of Morecambe is also within easy driving distance.
