The room was very small but very nicely set out. The bed was very comfortable and everything you needed in the room for a lovely overnight stay. The breakfast was delicious, we didn’t eat an evening meal but the bar area is really nice. Nice touch in your room were 2 vouchers for 2 half pints of Timothy Taylor’s beer.

Love room, bathroom very clean. Food in pub very good. Could do with a separate room check in area as the bar can be very busy. Glad of the car parking!
In the centre of town so in easy walking distance to shops and attractions. Parking behind the hotel is a little awkward but once you get in there is plenty of space. Breakfast was delicious and served quickly. Rooms have no view but quiet.
Hotel is a good location in the high street, secure parking at the rear. Our room faced the Main Street which was nicely decorated. It's a very busy pub/hotel sometimes difficult to find a seat. Breakfast on the first day was excellent we both had full English but second day my partner had only ordered scrambled eggs & mushrooms they looked like cheese and strange consistency so never ate them! Liked the idea of small flasks of milk for the room which you could ask at the bar to be refilled kept milk cool!
Room was very small and a very small shower. However it was very quiet even with the window constantly open because of the heat outside.
The bed was very comfy, and the flask of fresh milk for the coffee was a very nice change from the small cartons as you get in most places.
The staff were all very friendly and very helpful.
The breakfast was very good and with a wide choice. However I did notice that some of the yoghurts were actually 3 or 4 days past their use by date. I am sure that this was just an oversight as everything else was very good service and quality.
There was a nice restaurant and bar with several real ales from the local brewery on every evening
From the moment of arrival in the secure car parking area to the outdoor seating, through to the dining room and busy bar it was all great.
All very clean and bright and welcoming.
As were the staff, a great little find.

Actually stayed for 2 nights! Big bonus was secure car parking at the rear of the building a token is required from the bar! Comfortable Room no 7 overlooking main st! It’s a vibrant hotel very busy quality food and nice outdoor seating. Children & Dogs welcome! My breakfast both days was delicious, my partner had an issue with his today he ordered scrambled eggs mushrooms & beans! The scrambled eggs were weird flat tasted of cheese runny he couldn’t eat them, so did mention this to the waitress who to be fair offered to replace them but my decided not too bother !
Oh what a lovely place to stay!!!! One of my best stays. It is a cozy Inn in a beautiful town. The inn has all you would like, very clean and pretty rooms, very clean and up to date bathrooms, and excellent breakfast. The staff is super nice and helpful. I was traveling with my sister, It was our first time in UK and we had the best English Countryside experience.
Excellent B&B and pub with lovely beer garden. Close to transport and amenities. Room was spotless. Breakfast was plentiful and of good quality with lots of choice.
