Lovely hotel. As it's not huge, it had a lovely, cosy atmosphere. Staff were all great. Very helpful and efficient. We loved the breakfast, with good choice of hot and cold items. The afternoon "Fika" was great and the lovely evening meal was a real bonus. The room was very nice. We overlooked the waterfront, which was fabulous. The only slight downside was absence of storage space. A very small recess in the wall, just inside the door, with 4 coathangers and no drawers whatsoever. Having said that, it didn't detract from a very enjoyable stay and we would stay again if we go back to Tromso

We really enjoyed our stay here and wouldn’t hesitate returning. All staff were friendly and welcoming, the location was perfect, the room was comfortable and the food package unbeatable. This stay was excellent value for money and I would recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Tromso.

We stayed in a Superior room which had a great view over the harbour. The bed was comfortable, plenty of hot water and a good shower. The only negative was the carpet, which was a little worn but to be honest with the view it really didn't matter! The booking included breakfast and a light dinner. Breakfast was a buffet with with hot and cold options and plentiful. Dinner was more limited but there was still plenty to eat. If you want a vegetarian dish then book at reception and the cook will prepare one for you. The hotel was in a perfect location for the city and tours. Highly recommend this hotel if you're planning a visit to Tromsø.

I was unfortunately given room 201 which was directly above the restaurant area and next to the stairwell. This meant that every night was disturbed by the staff moving /dragging the furniture around on the wooden floor and guests going up and down the stairwell. I raised my concerns with the reception and was made to feel foolish and was told that I should have called the front desk. When I tried this option on subsequent nights no one answered to help me. It’s a shame, as the hotel is quite nice and comfortable, but I had such poor sleep here that I would very much recommend refusing room 201 (and probably 202 as well) if you decide to risk staying here. I am sure the hotel will reply that I could have done xyz but having expressed my concerns in person and was met with indifference there seemed little left to do but accept my stay would not be an enjoyable one.

Fabulous situation right on the harbour front with room directly looking out across to the Arctic Cathedral. Very comfortable bed, big shower, a little dated decor, but more than made up for by the warmth and friendliness of the staff, all of whom were wonderful!

Our stay was lovely, the service is great, the staff are nice, the free fika and dinner were a great addition and the free coffee and tea all day long were good. Great location, very walkable. The only thing I would change is cleaning the rooms, it's okay not to clean every day, but once in two days maybe would be nice. Four nights without cleaning or even taking out the trash was a little too much. Overall we had a great time and defiently will be back if we come to Tromso again. Highly recommended!

Having stayed at this hotel a few years ago and had a very pleasant stay, we booked again. We did, however, make the mistake of choosing the cheapest option of “no refunds or changes”. So when being diagnosed with a serious medical condition and unable to travel, could not get a refund. Lesson learned, but won’t book this hotel again

The room is small but cozy and clean. The bathroom is very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, in my opinion, and dinner, which was also included in my rate, was also good. Everything is made easy because it's self-service: check-in, check-out, taxi booking, etc. It is very well located.
