Compare Cheap Hotels in Sligo

Check-in was easy and the young man at the desk (i did not catch his name) was super welcoming and when asked he gave us an excellent recommendation for the following day. Other staff were great at breakfast as well. The room was clean, well stocked with towels. Not a problem for us but the room had no safe which could be an issue for some. My only problem was that there was no air in the room and it was very stuffy. A notice on the desk warned about not opening the windows at night to avoid insects coming it. There was a fan in the closet so I used that so I could sleep.

Had a wonderful stay here , beautiful surroundings. Was upgraded which is always delightful. Staff were amazing and food delicious. Would loved to have stayed longer . Sligo park has lovely areas to lounge around to relax and unwind.

Great staff. Very friendly. Food at the bar was really delicious. also, Dylan the bartender is a great lad and knows how to hold a nice conversation. CHEERS!!

I had stayed at the Clayton in Sligo a few times before (last time was in March of last year) and it maintains high standards in every aspect. I had dinner at the Bistro Bar and, besides the good food, the young waiter and waitress that were serving were so professional, attentive and caring. The food was also served quickly. Breakfast remains excellent with huge variety of choices. The hotel building is majestic and beautiful with plenty of parking and the rooms are bigger than the average hotel room. As I was working in the hospital, the Clayton's location is perfect, so this hotel ticked all boxes for me.
