The Ryotei Hanayura Ryokan, Noboribetsu, which is the nearest accommodation, is 17 kilometres from downtown Sobetsu. As an alternative, you could check out the The Windsor Hotel TOYA, located in Toyako, which is 16 kilometres away.

The Dai-ichi Takimotokan is positioned 17 kilometres from the heart of Sobetsu. Or, alternatively, the Rusutsu Resort Hotel & Convention is 20 kilometres away. Another possibility is to make a booking at the Toya Sun Palace or the Noboribetsu Manseikaku.

You'd have to be a flamin' galah to head off without exploring all the other fabulous attractions on offer in Hokkaido. Enjoy Hokkaido's coastal plains, forests, rivers and lakes. In addition, you should head to the region's traditional villages. Active visitors can also enjoy snowboarding here.

While you are in Shikotsu-Toya National Park you can make a visit to the Showa-shinzan and stay the night in Lake Toya, which is 10 kilometres to the west of the middle of Sobetsu. The Nishiyama Kogen Petit Hotel Koizumi and Toyako Onsen Hokkai Hotel are among your choices.

Aussies are known internationally for their love of sport, so why not visit Sapporo Dome? Find Sapporo Dome about 60 kilometres to the northeast of Sobetsu. Stay right near the action at the Renaissance Sapporo Hotel or the Ascent Inn Sapporo.

New Chitose Airport is the preferred airport and can be found 65 kilometres from the centre of Sobetsu. Hotels that are nearby include the Crowne Plaza Ana Chitose and the Hotel Wing International Chitose.
