Prior to this aread wed been to Roma, Sperlonga and Pompeii....but this was the highlight of our trip!!!
The property and location were so authentic and real, a breathe of fresh air away from mass tourism.
The hosts, chef, food, gardens, view, and nearby coves all blew our minds.
Wed love to return!!!
Authentic Italian Villa with gorgeous sunsets. Friendly staff. Walkable to the Beach/Marina nearby but the walk back is very steep. The Baths of Giovanni is gorgeous nearby. We didn't have a car so alot of walking on steep inclines to bus stop, beach and restaurants. Only thing that would improve the property is a golf cart shuttle to the Beach/Marina area. Beds comfortable and rooms quiet at night. Property much nicer in person. Big rooms.
Enzo was the best - so welcoming and full of useful information about the area. Made us feel at home in the beautiful oasis he and his wife have created. The grounds are breathtaking. The room, AC, bathtub were all wonderful, as was the coffee and breakfast. Close walk to wonderful beaches and restaurants. 10/10 recommend.
Beautiful property near beach. Our room had lovely view of water. Beach accessible by walking…trip back to hotel very steep. I managed it, but with several pauses. Breakfast quite nice. Hotel a little hard to find and a little remote from dining options. Parking in Sorrento is almost impossible. There were a few restaurants at the beach…but the climb back!
Terrific location, beautiful property, set in a small vineyard and olive trees with a view down to the bay of Naples. 10 minute (steep) walk down to the bay / beach and multiple restaurants. Rooms are clean, relatively basic but in-keeping for the style of the villa. Breakfast was great. On site parking is a real plus. About a 10 minute drive into Sorrento. If you’re a runner, the roads are narrow. Highly recommended.
Beautiful property, only a 10 minute walk to the marina/beach area with restaurants. The property is a little hard to get to without a car but not impossible. The EAV bus stop is also about a 5-10 minute walk. Can also walk to Bagni Regina Giovanna, which is a cliffside beach area with ancient villa ruins and a grotto area with lots of cliff jumping. Enzo is a great host and very responsive on WhatsApp. He was even kind enough to drive us to Sorrento town one night in his car when he was leaving the property! We really enjoyed our stay.
The Villa was beautiful and staff extremely helpful and accommodating. The rooms were large and clean, and the sea views and breezes were amazing. I wish we had booked more nights during our trip. It is a taxi or Uber into Sorrento, but the quiet and gardens are well worth it. I would highly recommend.
Absolutely fabulous stay!! Enzo, Gessica, Maria ans Asanti were fabulous!!! Such a warm and welcoming place. It is outside of Sorrento, which made it so quiet and beautiful!
The property is quaint, hard to find. The villa is lovely, breakfast was good, lovely gardens. There is not much there, however you can walk down a very very very steep road to a beach with restaurants and a view. We had lunch and dinner there. The food was good. Once you're parked nowhere to go to or drive to - it's pretty much a place to relax. Enjoyed an ocean view from a hammock. Getting back up the hill after dinner required a ride from the restaurant hostess who amazed us with her driving skills. The road fit a golf cart, or a micro car- which she had. To turn she needed to stop in a cul de sac, turn and then go up. One turn was impossible so she took the hill in reverse and fast- Maria Andretti! We stayed 1 night. Was plenty!
Amazing location overlooking the ocean, in a peaceful setting. Delicious breakfast, friendly staff — a thoroughly wonderful experience.
Getting to and from the Villa could be tricky for some, as you either need a car/taxi or have to walk on a road with no sidewalks. We had no problem walking to and from the bus stops but I wouldn’t try it with a toddler.
I loved my stay very much. I stayed for two nights and the views from the room were just unbelievable. I was able to walk down to the Roman baths and to a cute beach area with restaurants, but just hanging out in the villa itself is enjoyable enough. The staff were all extremely welcoming and helpful and I would absolutely come back again (if I’m ever so lucky). The only thing to note is that you will absolutely need a car or taxi (around 30-35 euros a trip) to get into Sorrento—walking in those roadways is too scary haha
