Welcome to K9 Beach House

This nicely decorated home sits just 3 blocks from the beaches of Lake Michigan and is very close to all that downtown has to offer. There is room to fit 6 people comfortably. There is a nice fenced-in backyard for your dog as well as a patio and a grill for relaxing during those beautiful summer nights. Up to one dog is allowed for an additional fee. Must be under 35 pounds. We also offer discounts for our brave first responders. Please contact us for more information. Book now and enjoy your summer getaway!

Family Trip

Cute little lake cottage. A bit of a walk to the beach with a 5 and 2yr old and very comfortable accommodations. We did miss the part about the bathroom being on the 1st floor and the 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor, just FYI if you're 60. Hosts were very quick to respond to our questions.

Lovely weekend away with our pups!

We loved staying at this property - it had everything we needed. Quick walk into town & South Beach. Our dogs appreciated the fenced in back yard. Smelled clean and was clean! Only downside was that the bathroom is on the main floor, and the bedrooms are up a flight of very steep stairs. Overall we had an extremely pleasant stay & enjoyed South Haven as a whole!

Dog days of summer

While it took my dog some adjusting to a new place, he was totally comfortable walking into town and greeting all the people! We even went to a dog friendly beach the last day. The only thing with the house I would have preferred is if the bathroom had been on the same level as the bedrooms or vice versa, something small but can’t change it

Good Value

My pre-teen daughters and I stayed at the property in early August. It's a very good location, short walks to the beach and downtown. The house is extremely clean, and the beds are comfortable. We were on the go for most of the trip, and it served us very well. The kitchen is large and well appointed with good cabinets and all the dishes and silverware a small family could need. We didn't make use of the large deck, but it was in good condition. The only drawback is the only bathroom is on the 1st floor while bedrooms are on the 2nd. This is a tidy house for a small family on the go, and it presents a relative value for a stay in beautiful South Haven.
