As you arrive at you’ll first notice the home’s impressive size, barnwood garage doors, custom front door, and big picture windows.

The great room features an open-concept design with high vaulted ceilings, lots of natural light, and a seating area surrounding the gas fireplace. Read by the fire while sipping on some hot cocoa or cozy up to watch a movie from the selection of DVDs on the large mounted HDTV.

In this well-stocked kitchen, you’ll be in the middle of the action. Stainless steel appliances and ample granite counter space make this kitchen a delight! When dinner is hot and ready to be served, the dining table is just steps away with seating for 6. Kitchen island has 4 bar stools.

If you prefer to dine alfresco, fire up the BBQ on the upper deck off the great room. There's a picnic table with bench seating so you can dine and unwind.

This home has three comfortable bedrooms that all have access to a bathroom. The primary bedroom, upstairs, has a king bed, twin daybed for a child, a seating area and a small desk. The ensuite master bath is truly spa-worthy with dual vanity, large walk in shower, and modern clawfoot tub. Also upstairs is a half bath. Two bedrooms are located downstairs both with one queen bed. These bedrooms share a full bath with single sink and shower/tub combo.

And for those longer visits, a washer and dryer are handily located in the laundry room

The lower level of the home has a bonus living area. This space has a sectional sofa, comfy chair, and a large HDTV. This home also has a selection of board games.

With access from the downstairs bonus room lies the fenced in backyard complete with ski lift chair and an an outdoor bar space. This area has a bar, 4 bar stools, a loveseat, 2 chairs, and a coffee table. This backyard is truly an oasis.

Went for a winter escape and that’s what we received. The house was amazing with everything we could possibly want. It was peaceful and quiet which is exactly what we were looking for. The house was clean and spacious for the 6 of us. The master bedroom had to be my favorite. The decor of the house set the mood for our trip. House was very warm and so we kept it at 55 degrees. The kitchen had all that we needed for our meals that we cooked. The communication was excellent and we always received a quick response when we had a question.

This was the perfect vacation house for my family. The house was amazing, literally everything we needed for 4 adults and my 5 year old grandson. The spilt level each with TV room was perfect for everyone to have their own movie time. The kitchen was completely stocked with everything we needed to feel like home. The backyard was a hit for my grandson and two upper decks - one for grilling and outdoor eating and one for quiet meditation time. The wash room was perfect for after lake activities (only a 15 min drive). The best home away from home! Highly recommend this wonderful vacation home.

This well appointed property had everything we needed for our party of four. The downstairs area provided more than adequate privacy. The trees surrounding the property provided filtered light for the patio and the umbrella on the deck added nice shade. The kitchen is well equipped and has an abundance of cooking and serving components. Recommended.

We were in town for a weekend soccer tournament and were able to stay at this lovely home. It was very clean and the rooms were very quiet with good blinds to keep most of the early morning light out. There were air purifiers in a couple of the rooms which not only provided excellent IAQ, but white noise as well for our younger ones to sleep soundly. The beds and linens were high quality and the appliances were all new. We would definitely stay here again.

Great property. Close to South Lake Tahoe and Heavenly (10-15 minute drive). Great linens and well stocked kitchen supplies. Garage option is a must for winter. Very nice beds and TVs. Suited our family well. Only minor concern is that one of the twin beds was located in the master bedroom which is a bit awkward. Would have been utilized if located elsewhere. Also, check out time at ten can be tough. Eleven would be better for bigger families. Overall a wonderful experience.

Beautiful Swiss chalet in the Sierras

The pictures on VRBO usually look better than the reality. Not for Heavenly Grotto #9. It's everything you see in the pictures, and then some. By "some", I mean the coziness of the place, what Germans define as "Gemutlichkeit". The house is superbly appointed with comfortably plush furniture, tasteful dinner and glassware, lots of pots and pans, and large and comfortable beds. It is tastefully decorated. You don't have to lie in bed staring at pictures of the owner's relatives and pets. The neighborhood is very quiet, the streets are lined with beautiful homes and perfect for after-dinner walks. However, since perfection has not yet been invented, I must find at least one fault: athough the streets were clear of snow, the inclined driveway to the house was covered by 4-5 inches of ice--so icy that our car slid down the driveway. A minor problem considering all the pluses the house offered.

Amazing home in South Lake Tahoe!

This is a beautiful, well appointed home located in the trees a short distance from anything you might want to do in South Lake Tahoe. Even with the record snowfall the property was lovely, and the owners have provided for every need and comfort (thanks for the excellent beds!). We have stayed in multiple homes over the years, and this one is in the top three of all time. We would love to visit the area again in the late spring or fall at some point, and we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Heartily recommended!

Wonderful get away house!

We loved staying here. It had everything you needed almost like you were at your own house. We especially appreciated the garage to park in so that our vehicle wasn’t covered in snow each morning. The fireplace was so cozy! We would love to stay here again.

The property was good! No major issues. The garage door opener batteries must be dead. Couldn’t get it to work. Bathrooms were clean and updated. Kitchen had everything we needed. 1 small cooking dish broke and 1 towel ripped because of age. We disposed of both into the trash.

The home was very nice and incredibly spacious! We were comfortable, even with 6 adults. It was a lovely kitchen to cook in… large and well-stocked! There was an abundance of pots, pans, and utensils. The bathrooms were also well stocked with amenities. We do miss the air conditioning from home. While the temps dip at night, it would have helped to be able to cool the home off before bed. We were told you cannot leave the lower floor windows open due to bears, and without AC, it was very stuffy. Otherwise, it was perfect.

Beautiful new construction home

Very spacious, new construction, very nicely and tastefully decorated and furnished. High-end TV and speaker system. BUT very little day light gets in, it's dark inside, and the property is located close to two noisy streets.
