A rural retreat

We all had a wonderful stay at this very secluded home on a sheep farm with pretty grounds and views and were able to explore the many acres of the farm with a very informative tour of the vineyards which resulted in a wine tasting session of Jeffs excellent wines. Our hosts were helpful and very welcoming. I should point out that the property is advertised as having two bathrooms when it infact only has one but the beds are comfortable and we all slept well. If you are looking for somewhere chic and sophisticated then this isn't the place for you but for us it was a little piece of rural heaven with an excellent pool.

Vacances en famille très agréables et tranquilles

Marie jo et JF étaient des hôtes très accueillants avec une famille gentille et très arrangeante. Le gîte est parfait et les environs sont merveilleux. Nous avons passé du temps au bord de la piscine, nous avons fait une degustation des vins, fait du cyclisme et mangé de la bonne nourriture locale.

We had 5 glorious days spent in this artistic and painstakingly restored farmhouse and within easy reach of the woderful local sites of this historic region. Outgoing and helpful hosts J-F and Marie-Jo. Lots of activities around the house - swimming, table tennis, boules and walking routes, plus two lovely doggies! Then relaxing in the evenings and sampling the excellent wine produced by J-F from his own vines. Do not be perturbed by the 1.5k unmade track leading to the farmhouse. Just take it easy!

Wir hatten einen sehr erholsamen und authentischen Aufenthalt bei Jef und Mariejo. Die beiden sind hervorragende Gastgeber und haben uns gern an ihrem wundervollen Grundstück teilhaben lassen. Wir waren als Familie mit einem 3-jährigen Kleinkind und einem krabbelnden Baby unterwegs.Es gibt viele Schafe, Weinfelder und einen Weinkeller mit selbst angebauten Wein, einen großartigen Pool, den wir eigentlich immer für uns allein hatten und ganz viel regionalen Charme. Das Haus wurde von Jef selbst gebaut und ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Treppen können für sehr kleine Kinder gegebenenfalls eine Herausforderung sein, aber das Spielzimmer war ein Highlight für unsere Jungs.Vielen Dank für diesen tollen Urlaub und wir empfehlen das Haus gern weiter!

Nous avons passé deux semaines idylliques dans ce gite perdu au milieu de 50 hectares de foret et de vignes, parfait pour des vacances déconnectées. Les hôtes sont absolument charmants et discrets. Ils nous ont fait découvrir avec passion la rénovation du mas entamée il y a plus de 40 ans. Nous avons eu la chance de faire une visite accompagnée du domaine, des vignes et du chai avec une dégustation des différents crus du domaine.

Un havre de paix au milieu de nulle part. Marie Jo et Jef sont des hôtes très accueillants, avec toujours une histoire à partager. De belles rencontres donc, au-delà de l'endroit qui lui aussi est bourré de charme. Nous étions seuls dans la piscine pendant tout notre séjour, les enfants se sont régalés à chaque passage des brebis, la nature environnante est superbe, les chambres confortables. Nous espérons y retourner bientôt.

Un hébergement hors du temps à vite oublier

Habitués des locations Abritel, nous nous demandons si vous avez inspecté celle-ci. Nos hôtes vivent dans un monde qui n’est pas le nôtre. Menage mal fait à l’arrivée, toiles d’araignée existantes au pied des tabouret, les rideaux des vulgaires bouts de chiffons , le chemin pour accéder à la propriété est défoncé. Une voiture haute est nécessaire.Clou de l’hébergement les moutons passent dans l’espace pour manger dehors matin et soir. Ils laissent même leurs droits de passage sous forme d’excréments. Pas besoin de passer sous la douche pour se laver, le robinet du lavabo suffit. En conclusion cette location n’est pas digne de figurer dans votre catalogue de location. Séjour très agréable. Excellent séjour

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cette location en immersion dans la nature et l'accueil chaleureux de Marie-Jo et Jeff. La location est très belle, lumineuse, fonctionnelle et bien équipée. Il a été très agréable de profiter de la terrasse et de la compagnie des brebis. Si nous revenons dans la région, je pense que nous reviendrons ici.

Geheel eens met alle mooie woorden van voorgaande recensies daar waar rust, stilte, natuur en de vriendelijke aard van de gastheer worden geroemd. We hebben een heerlijk en te kort verblijf gehad. Wil daar graag nog het doordachte ontwerp en de mooie lijnen van huisje bij aantekenen. Echt slim en fraai bedacht en gebouwd. Ook het lichtplan (schakelingen).. Slim! Fijn bed, douche en keuken. Gezellig!

Séjour de déconnexion complète

Une semaine loin de tout pour un repos complet. Marie-Jo et Jeff sont adorables et disponibles et nous avons eu le plaisir de passer une excellente soirée avec eux. La maison était propre et le réveil par les brebis et le coq était des plus agréable. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et avons pu profiter du calme du lieu, ainsi que d'explications très intéressantes sur la fabrication du vin. Encore un grand merci à eux pour ce séjour idéal.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, par temps radieux. Les propriétaires sont très hospitaliers, l’environnement très calme et reposant. Et la maison a un vrai cachet. Piscine très agréable.Les parfums de la guarrigue nous ont enchanté, tout comme la descente ds moutons le soir et le vin blanc du propriétaire.

A little paradise at the end of the road...
