It’s a lovely hotel within easy walking distance of the Old Town. The staff were friendly and helpful and all spoke excellent English. We used the spa facilities often. The rooms were great with an excellent view of the old town. I would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel if they wanted to visit Split.

Stellar stay

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Ambasador for a quick 2-night stay in Split. The hotel is very modern and situated right up to the boardwalk/west end of the Riva. It was a very convenient location to spend our time walking around town. The morning breakfast service that was included was just what I was hoping for with fresh fruit and juices, gluten free options, and an acai bowl (among other delicious options). They also accommodated plant milk preferences with oat and almond. We opted for a room with a sea view and were so glad we did! It was amazing to be able to look out to Diocletian’s palace and see the activity around town. We also had a chance to enjoy the onsite gym and spa. The gym was small, but had what we needed. They had several stations in the spa to accommodate contrast therapy, with two saunas and various cold stations. The spa was complimentary, but you can opt for a paid treatment service as well. We HIGHLY recommend Hotel Ambasador whenever you’re exploring Split or the surrounding area. Thank you again for the splendid accommodations!

An outstanding hotel in a phenomenal position with excellent views in close proximity to the promenade and ferry terminal. Staff are attentive and friendly. Rooms well appointed with extremely comfortable bedding.
