Loved Lake Louise inn in every way, specially the price!! Excellent self catering suit, neat and clean, great food in the dinning area, wonderful view, very near to both of the main Lakes : lake Louise and Moraine lake. We would love to stay again and advertise to our friends and relatives. We would have booked for more days if the property advertised themselves properly in their website and in social media.

I liked how safe it seemed and how quiet it was. Walkable to dining and shopping in the Lake Louise area which was a plus. Shuttles to Lake Louise and Moraine Lake also picked up from the parking lot which was convenient. We loved our stay here!

Think of a motel room and you have pictured the room we had at Lake Louise Inn. No A/C and pretty dated furnishings. We ate at both restaurants, and they were pretty good. The best part is the parking and location for catching the shuttles.

My friend and I had an absolutely terrible experience at this hotel. The air conditioner was outrageously loud—comparable to sleeping next to a construction site. It was impossible to get any rest. To make matters worse, the heater was completely useless. The room was freezing cold the entire night. We were forced to sleep wearing full outdoor jackets just to avoid shivering. This is Banff, not a tropical destination—it’s unacceptable for a hotel to be so unprepared for the cold. There was also no breakfast provided—not even as a paid option, which is shocking for any accommodation claiming to offer basic hospitality. Frankly, this hotel was a complete disaster. Poorly maintained, unwelcoming, and absolutely not worth the price. We left exhausted, freezing, and deeply disappointed.

Property location was great. Older rooms, no refrigerator or microwave , but beds were comfy. Pricy for the room, but i guess it's location that you are paying for at this property. Staff was very nice.

Loved thr room and hospitality it was wonderful!! Only concern we had was the lack of food options. The price was way too expensive at Legends and no elevator to get to Timberwolf - the other restaurant upstairs so we were very limited. Not being familiar with the area and it being so cold and raining during our stay, it would have been nice to have cheaper food items to choose from. The restaurants know they have us and can price the food at will.

Accommodation not met

There was a problem with the booking. I was verbally promised a room on the 2nd floor as all rooms were taken on the 1st floor when I booked in Feb. However, upon check in I was given a room on the 3rd floor. I have mobility issues and there isn’t an elevator. The hotel apologized and said it was because I booked through hotels .com and that it wasn’t noted on my reservation. The hotel gave me a voucher for two free buffet breakfasts and a small box of chocolates, which was appreciated. In future, I will make sure that my special request is noted on the booking receipt and I get the name of the person that I spoke with or I will book directly with the property.

Poor value. I paid over 600./night for our room that was an extremely dated. Knobs off on drawer pulls and shower dial barely attached. Worst part was there was no outside window-faced inside pool area and was very noisy until pool closed at 10pm. On yhe website they show very nice updated rooms but in reality not the case. If they would’ve just said we are giving you a room not yet updated for a lesser price I would’ve understood. No ac. They said it’s part of their “eco…” something. Even when it was cool outside, our room was very stuffy. The little old white fan they left for us didn’t help much. All of this said, staff are so great, food in restaurants is very good. Location was an easy walk to tourist shuttles. Value just isn’t there and I went to other places to see options

The Inn is in a great spot—so close to all of the National Park highlights. But it is expensive for what you get. Our room was dated and small. Older carpet—we had better rooms in motels that cost under $100 per night. Lots of things cost extra as well. But the restaurants are good and it’s very convenient.

It is not a kid friendly place. If you are staying in building 5, you need to take your all luggage to 3rd floor by all yourself. No help is provided. It becomes very noisy and good, they have earplugs in the drawer.
