We were impressed with the kind reception desk welcome (especially Bailey), the comfortable lounge area, the soundproofing in the room, the extremely comfy pillows and mattresses, the great view of the river, the recycling program, the proximity of walking to downtown shops and restaurants, and being able to borrow an umbrella at the desk. Negatives: not having hot water for a shower and/or washing hair on the morning we left. Also, the in-hotel restaurant Terre was way over our budget. We had a great meal we could afford at the 24-hour Celtic Heart Irish pub a 10-min walk down Water Street. Overall we did enjoy this Alt hotel and I’d reserve again as long as I knew the water temp in the shower would be tolerable.

Rooms are exceptional. The staff is very accommodating and welcoming. Housekeeping is fantastic. It is very modern hotel and very safe. It’s beautiful right on the water front, they have a wonderful little cafe in the lobby and on a beautiful day you can sit outside and look out at the harbor.

This is such a beautiful Hotel… right on the Harbour. We upgraded and had an amazing view of the harbour and Signal Hill.. the staff are very helpful and very friendly. Super comfy bed.. we had a King bed! Very modern hotel with light switches and curtains control right at your fingertips! I would definitely recommend this Hotel when staying in St. John’s walking distance to everything! They have picnic tables and Muskoka chairs facing the Harbour… great for evenings after a long day of sightseeing, relaxing and watching the ships go by with a nice glass of vine! (Which we pruchased at the location Liquor store)highly recommend this hotel

Had to use your key card for things to work- lights, blinds. The panel near my bed kept lighting up. Couldn’t sleep. Called the front desk at midnight. Ended up taping a paper bag over it. No charm just buttons to press

Extremely helpful at the desk. Gone out of their way to accommodate me. Helped me to park my large vehicle and load and unload my luggage as I injured my back. The hotel is top notch. Very modern, beautiful and comfortable. Fine dining. Rey good food.

Hotel is clean and modern. The Terre cafe was excellent. The Terre restaurant was very good. The back terrace was beautiful. One of the elevators was broken down for my entire 4 day stay. The wifi was weak and trouble connecting to it. I didn’t appreciate the breakfast vouchers that in my opinion were misleading and give people the impression that they provided a discount when in fact, they provided no advantage what so ever and were just a waste of time and paper.
