What a dump. No hot water or heat & nothing done to rectify. No internet or tv. Clean-ish. Bad smell in the kitchen- like something dead. Some lights not working. Great location though but I rather would have camped

Loved that it was located exactly where I wanted to be. The outside area was overgrown with a creeping vine and the outside could use some talc. There was a bbq, but no propane or tools. The kitchen lacked some cooking utensils and dish drying towels. There were four of us and only one useable kitchen chair. The bed was very comfortable, but the other couple had to use a pullout couch. This was not explained in the ad. Also, there was no wifi or tv available.

Had to get a hotel

The property had not been cleaned, smelled very musty, garbage in the kitchen, moldy coffee grounds in the coffee machine, screen cut from window, stair outside unsafe. The house was for sale and appeared not taken care of, 2 property managers ghosted me, VRBO support ghosted me. Had to find a hotel room for two nights, no refund has been offered by anyone.

Cute, Great Location

Mike is a great host. He's very communicative and friendly. The location of this property cannot be beat. It's across the street from the Battery Cafe, within skipping distance of Bannerman brewing, and a short walk to downtown. The Harbour view is lovely. I'd stay here again.

Nice area

Overall, a great place to stay at. Close to places we wanted to see and it had everything we needed. Local coffee shop was great. Would stay again. Love Newfoundland

This Ground Floor unit is well-stocked and clean. Great location for exploring the “old” part of the City of St. John’s!
