Hotel have potential but rooms needs a refurb

Nice hotel great location but rooms needs a proper refurb and even window curtains had holes in it .... Great price, breakfast option limited to "english breakfast" some more local breakfast product will be great, great coffee.... the best experience we had with hotel restaurant, great prices and the best octopus in garlic we ever had ... thank you ...

In heart of st julians

For the price hotel you pay you cant expect mych. unfortunately in the room there was so much dust and for a person who suffers from allergies it was a nightmare. Overall hotel is in a great location. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Restaurant hotel offers discount for meals and food in rokna restaurant was very delicious.

Central but old stuff.....

Bad and slow internet, not possible to stream. Small rooms and old funitures. The bathrooms is very small too.

Very close to everything, including the beach.

This is a good area to be, as mentioned you are next to everything. Check in times need to be changed... it's currently 2PM and checkout is 11:30AM.

Large enough double room. Nice and clean. Very basic. Bed comfy enough. Fridge was very handy but missed the tea, coffee making facilities. Room service was available. Had balcony. Unfortunately during our stay there was building work being carried out across the road so could be noisy between 6.30am and 6pm during the week.

Mini break

Hotel a little dated, very basic but clean, only downside was a massive building being built stopping sunlight to balcony and level of noise from club goers and boy racers congregating down side of hotel, we were woken both nights between 2 and 5 am several times, room 122 would not be a room if want to stay in again! However the staff were friendly, restaurant attached to hotel, food was beautiful and the breakfast was lovely, the waiter in the mornings couldn’t do enough for you, on The whole, I would stay there again!

Rokna in January 18

Second trip to Malta but my first stay at the rokna hotel. First impressions very good very easy check in and friendly staff member on the front desk. Room with a balcony overlooking the road not too noisy. It is noted that there is construction going across the road but it didn’t bother me. Bathroom small but it worked, room was a good size. Everybody I spoke to or had any interaction with was very pleasant. Would recommend this place.

Only an overnight stay in the St Julian’s area, locality good, staff amazing but the room was disappointing 😔 shower had no power and was very very small, room had a window but no natural light as it opened into a ventilation shaft?

Have to haul your suitcase (23kg) up at least 8 steep stairs from sidewalk Very small elevator ,my wife and I had to take turns taking our luggage upstairs Very small room and bathroom Extremely noisy street and we were on the 4th floor Rooftop looked nothing like the picture in the add for the hotel

Basic hotel with pleasant staff

The room was basic and reasonable cleanliness. The air conditioning was a little weak making it hard to achieve a pleasant temperature. Breakfast also basic but adequate. The room definitely could do with some updating to make it a great experience. However, the staff were always very pleasant and went out of their way to be helpful.

Rokna Hotel

Hotel Staff were excellent regarding helpfulness. Breakfast Staff excellent all needs fulfilled. Reception staff understanding regarding my late returns to hotel after football and socialising. I have no qualms with Rokna and would easily book a return
