The hotel was good value. Staff were friendly. The room was very clean and a decent size. The balcony was lovely. The only downsides were that we were in quite a party area and the noise was continuous through the night, sometimes until 5am. There was also no working A/C meaning that the room was very warm.

This was my third stay at the Verdi, St. Georges Bay. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They are always smiling. Always willing to help. Breakfast was plentiful with choices for all.. I would have liked more fresh fruit but sitting on the terrace looking out to sea is a perfect way to start the day. My room was large with a wonderful sea view balcony. It was cleaned each day, often whilst l was at breakfast, to a very high standard. There is building work going on across the road from the front entrance but this did not impact on my stay as the rooms are at the back of the building overlooking the bay and out to sea. Numerous very good restaurants are within a 5 minute walk and there is a bus stop outside the hotel if you wish to go further afield. St Georges bay has a sandy beach, rare in Malta and there is a dive centre for the more adventurous. There is a casino and several clubs within easy walking distance. Far enough away to not disturb the hotel's residents but there if you want them. Some people have mentioned that the rooms look "tired". I would agree with this but to me cleanliness is far more important than the latest colour on the walls! A comfy bed and good blackout curtains more important than shiny new furniture.

Fantastic hotel in a prime location! Just a short walk from St. Julian’s Bay, this property exceeded our expectations. The hotel was impeccably clean and spacious, offering a wide range of facilities to enhance our stay. The rooms were not only comfortable but also well-appointed, making for a truly relaxing experience. Above all, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend—thank you for a great experience!

All the staff was great,friendly and helped if you had a problem. Mickel was great,we had a issue he sorted it straight away.The rooms was cleaned daily, but it could do with a bit of TLC. I am coeliac felt very safe eating the Breakfast buffet.

Where do I start! My friend and I visited Malta for spring break, as we were coming from Florence from studying abroad. We didn’t know what to expect, but soon realize that Malta would be our favorite place! Mickel is one of many of the amazing employees at the hotel! He introduced himself on our first day and we continue to have wonderful conversations, and he had great recommendations for places we should visit. The front desk staff were also very attentive and amazing. The hotel is located very close to great bars and restaurants, but is extremely quiet at night which we loved! We also took the bus to many different cities within Malta. One of our favorite aspects of our stay was the cappuccino in the morning! Dare I say better than the ones we have in Italy? Haha we will definitely be back :)

Connection to Corinthia for several pools, lots of restaurants witin reach, walking distance from the center, tour desk for hotel pickup tours, but best of all, a small beach 3 min walking distance where water is always calm even on a windy day

We booked two rooms and stayed there for one night. The rooms had a very strong chemical smell which was unpleasant to bread in. My daughter couldn’t sleep because of the smell. Breakfast was very nice and the staff were super kind. Great dinning opportunities and the location is perfect. If the smell wasn’t there I would rate the hotel 4.5 but like this is 4.
