only options for parking were a paid spot behind the hotel unsupervised for $25 a night or valet that is supposed to be protected for $50 a night. the only difference between the two is valet is a fenced in parking area across the street from the hotel. Ball from our trucks hitch was stolen, among other marks and scratches that we noticed. we also noticed the valet keeps everyones keys in a locked box in-front of the hotel, not secure. the hotel itself is very pretty, but the lack of knowledge given about the amenities to the guests is crazy. the rooms are nice though they are not cleaned as well as they should’ve been. housekeeping came once in our 2 night stay and they did not change the trash or replenish the towels. the phone in the room did not work. the mini fridge was leaking (front desk was alerted and they said someone would be in that night but never came). the first night a fire alarm went off alerting all the guests to exit the building. the alarm turned off a few minutes after and then came back on, the whole time the staff was not alerting the guests of what was happening. the second night our room lights didn’t come on after hitting the switch for at least 10 minutes. we ordered room service, the bill was $165. the food came up cold, the steak was bland and the lamb meal was tiny for the price. the wine we ordered came up still corked with no way to uncork it. due to the phone not working, resolving this small issue was more difficult then it should have been.

I did not receive the room I booked. They did not notify me beforehand or at check in that it was unavailable. After going back down to the desk to inquire, they did offer a credit for use at breakfast.

Our sheets had a huge yellow stain on them, found a cockroach running around the dinning room/bar. Our room AC would not kick on and cool down at night. And We stayed there ro virw the art museum, which the closed for private events.

It’s our 2nd time staying and we love the hotel…. The front desk, cafe, valet & hotel staff are fantastic. 21C Museum Bar needs to work on their bartenders…. We went to the bar @ 5:30 PM before heading to our concert Saturday night to get a couple cocktails and sat for 10 minutes… CRICKETS! We got & left without an anyone acknowledging us. Lost out on an easy sale! Still love the hotel!

First of all, the hotel is beautiful and the art adds such an interesting element. I absolutely loved the building, galleries, and restaurants. Food was delicious and everyone working at Idol Wolf and Good Press went above and beyond although they seemed to be a bit understaffed. Valet staff was helpful. Had a 2 night stay and the very first night the a/c wouldn’t cool off room 405 enough and half way through them night when we realized it was only getting warmer and weren’t gonna be able to sleep. We were “upgraded and switched to a room that was actually smaller” room 809 anyways. Wake up in the morning and go to the breakfast downstairs and order 2 drinks and 2 croissants, and after 50 min asked about my food, had a waitress check and they lost my ticket and now 1hr 10 min and I have my food finally, then the way we recapped the trip our second night I fell asleep and my girlfriend woke me up showing me that she had been bitten like 8/9 times we proceeded to look all over the bed to find no less than 8-10 bed bugs visibly on the surface of the mattress, we will be demanding a full refund, we had to sit on the floor and tear apart all of our belongings and search every crevice , had to throw away some clothes, some Sandals, and a new bathing suit, all our food, a personal towel.

Probably not staying here again

Extremely disappointed, in light of rate paid. No wash cloths, no shampoo or body wash in tub, had to use bath mat in tub in order to avoid slipping due to ultra slick surfaces. Front desk was slow and untrained. Restaurant menu was very unappealing. No hotel baggage carts available, however Valet parking was excellent.
