Hotel was very cool, certainly niche. Service was not the best. There was a language barrier between us and the receptionist. Definitely scour the area before arrival to find parking, otherwise you'll have to pay to park. the restaurants inside are really great, food and drinks are highly recommended. Atmosphere is a 10/10. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE. We will be back.

If you have ever wanted to step inside a Wes Anderson film—complete with the perfect symmetry, whimsical color palettes, and that distinct feeling of curated reality—the 21c Museum Hotel in St. Louis is it. The rooms are the true showstopper. Opening the door felt less like entering a hotel room and more like being transported to a high-end, 1960s Mad Men-inspired apartment. The attention to detail is staggering. The aesthetic is a masterclass in mid-century modern design, featuring rich wood paneling, deep jewel tones, and opulent finishings that scream Don Draper excellence. The furniture feels substantial and curated, not mass-produced, with tactile fabrics and silhouettes that anchor the space in that golden era of design. And then, there is the bathroom. I can say, without hyperbole, that this is the best bathroom of any hotel we’ve ever stayed at. It is an absolute sanctuary. The design continues that opulent, retro-modern theme with stunning tiling and heavy, brushed brass fixtures that feel incredible to use. It’s spacious and bright, featuring a vanity area that actually allows you to spread out. The shower pressure was perfect, and the high-end amenities (Malin+Goetz) were the cherry on top. It’s the kind of bathroom that makes you want to renovate your own home the second you leave. The 21c St. Louis manages to thread the needle between a serious art gallery and a cozy, nostalgic retreat.

The hotel is beautiful! It was a great pick for so much to do on the property. From the pool area with hot tub and saunas . To the art gallery, and the stubbing bar! Grab some fantastic cocktails! Ask for Sunday, she was wonderful bartending! Perfect stay.

No parking available other than $50 valet with tip expected every time you get your car. Price is for 24 hours only. Hotel room and staff are excellent. Pricey. For the price, breakfast should be included. A small coffee shop and bar are located near the lobby. Again, pricey.

Room was very dirty, glass top table where coffee maker was covered in an unknown dried liquid, floors were very dirty, found used silverware next to the nightstand on the floor. There was something splattered and dried on the wall, coffee cups had a white film in bottom of glasses that looked like milk. This is my third time staying at 21C and definitely my last.

This hotel is incredible. So beautiful with all the amenities. Good price for the night through Expedia as well. I do have to say, the front desk was very young and without knowledge of if dogs were allowed in the bar (they are), what time the pool opens (ChatGPT says 5 AM but it's actually 6 am), and generally we're not excited to help guests. Other than that, I would stay here again for sure!
