The room was nice, my only concern was the politeness of the staff, making our stay unpleasant.
First, when we checked in, there was no one behind us, no big rush. But when my teen politely asked when breakfast was, the lady behind the counter snapped, "I'll get to that in a minute." Then she said her script so fast that we couldn't follow. My kid was asking a perfectly appropriate question for the circumstance, and didn't deserve to be treated like that.
Second, during breakfast, my teen took one muffin. The lady at the breakfast angrily yelled across the room, "No! Use the tongs!" (My kid later told me that she hadn't seen the tongs. ) A polite reminder would have been appropriate and kind, but instead, rudeness and yelling. I was disappointed.
Training in customer service would go a long way to making guests' stay much more pleasant.
