There were two main highlights that have inspired me to write a review.
Firstly, the property is beautifully situated with unobstructed views down the Engadine Valley. It is quiet and peaceful, and the valley floor unfolds at your feet. It really is a special sight to have from the breakfast table.
Secondly, in the salon there is a magnificent fireplace. In the morning we would pull up two chairs, light our own fire, and have a pot of coffee to the crackle of another log going on. Similarly, after dinner we would grab a bottle of wine from the kitchen (help yourself and mark down what you take) and spend an hour or two winding down the night in front of the dying embers.
Chesa Spuondas is true Engadine atmosphere; the architecture of the house, the immediate valley surroundings and the friendly people that host you there.
