Great comfortable place

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. I liked how spacious the room was. It didn't feel cramped but like we had room to move. The check in process was very slow. There was only one person doing it and averaged about 7-10 minutes per guest. I was in line for about 30 minutes.

Great food great atmosphere. Delightful service.

Great breakfast options. Love the omelet section. My family loved the pool. Prompt service. A little issue with the cable but it got fixed the same night. Overall decent experience.

When I say this hotel is bad, it’s bad. We walked into the room to a stench of must & mildew, there were questionable stains on the couch and chairs and it was very outdated. We didn’t plan on staying at the hotel during the day so figured we’d just suck it up as there aren’t many other hotels in the area that can accommodate a family of 6. We tried to sleep, but could not. The beds were EXTREMELY uncomfortable. You could feel the springs digging into you all night. The next morning, I contacted hotels.com

The best place for a family stay in MSP

This hotel is always our go to in Minneapolis when we visit friends. The rooms are spacious, the pool is excellent for the kids in the family and the breakfast is a huge value add. We participated in the afternoon cocktail hour this trip and want to thank ES for that little perk. Well done! Looks like the hotel is getting a refresh soon as they were showcasing some interior design project boards near the lobby. This hotel is convenient to attractions, outdoor activities, groceries, etc. The staff is super friendly and we will be back for another stay soon.

There was an incident on Friday night July 25. And there was no warning and the smoke alarm did not go off but smoke filled the atrium and the smell was aweful. I was on the 8th floor and no alert to what was going on and my mom is 93 and she went into an anxiety attack because she didn't know how she was going to get down from tge floor because elevator was turned off ot was scatey

Scary

There was smoke in the building, due to my daughter’s asthmatic reaction to the smoke, we had to leave at around 12am 7/26/25. We were barely there. The fire dept showed up twice in the very few hours that we were there. Our kids were terrified. We ended up having to leave and we took the stairs down the 7 floors to get out. We didn’t feel safe. We requested some kind of refund but haven’t heard back from the hotel yet

It would have been perfect if we didn't arrive in our room with a smell of cigarette smoke. I wasn't sure if it was cigarette smoke or its just the room as it is dated coz after someone came and sprayed, it didn't go away. I like that the hotel has evening reception, free drinks and snacks around 5-6pm. Great breakfast as well. Would love to stay again when renovation is completed.

The 2 people at the front desk, both AM and PM, were awesome. Friendly,accommodating, and just plain nice.Day a man, night a woman. I am so mad I dont remember their names. However, the supervisor at the front, was rude to the man who was helping us, dimissed the fact that he was helping us, and was training another.... she acted like this in front of the trainee. Carpet on the floors is coming up, so watch your step. The two front desk people were the only engaging staff we encountered. Breakfast was above your average "included" breakfast. It was very good. Managers cocktail haour was good, the "bartender" could have a bit more friendly.

Soccer players need to be controlled by parents

We had a very good stay. Staff is all great. Nice and quiet, until Thursday night. After soccer teams showed up, kids tool over the building. It's too bad parents use this time to sit drinking while visiting and forget they have kids. I feel bad for the staff of the hotel. Half classes of beer were left on tables, plates and garbage all over. Kids were running down the hall and tapping on our door at 11:30 p.M. Only downside of our stay.
