Great location right across from wonderful beach, sunsets. Short walk or shuttle/drive to John's Pass Village. Right in a canal. Old school, retro...old Florida feel! An amazing gem!

We were surprised by the terreza floor when we walked in the door. It was from the 60's in beautiful condition. The bathroom was very retro. In fact, the tile was the same as we had in our bathroom in 1972. The pictures on the walls were nostalgic. It brought memories to us old folks in our 70's. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower very good. The only thing we didn't like was the window air conditioner, but we were lucky, we didn't need it so we turned it off. We would stay there again.

They're trying...

They're going for a retro vibe; I think. Sorta get there, but the place is kinda tired... And prices definitely NOT retro. Water pressure good, but not so hot. Ice machine broken and apparently for a while. Good mattress, but not so good bedding and the bed itself was bad. I'd say it WAS clean. Overall, mixed feelings.

My friend and I stayed for three nights and enjoyed being on the ground floor, right next to the pool. However, the pool was not warm enough to swim in and when I inquired, the staff said "unfortunately, the heater is being repaired". Understandably, they are recovering from two hurricanes which struck in Sept 2024, so they are doing the best they can.

We were unable to visit due to the tropical storm Debbie. We emailed and called and explained that my husband is a first responder at home and cannot miss his shift if flights were delayed. We asked for any type of change , refund or reschedule and the hotel was unwilling to budget. We love this place and had hoped to make it our honeymoon.

The hotel cancelled our reservation 2 days before our check in. I had to scramble to find another hotel since it was a holiday week. We finally found one a hundred miles away. This was a major inconvenience.

Well kept vintage hotel

It is an older hotel that has been refurbished to be vintage. Very quaint, nice, and clean. Small pool and shuffleboard court and not much else. However it is close to many other places and quiet. Good value for the money.
