Our room was very nice in the main building. We had a suite and it was updated and clean and very nice with an open view. The restaurant was closed, but you could order food. The beach looked clean and well maintained as well.

There was no mention of a remodel, room was mostly done. Door stuck do to sagging door frame tub had rust issues, patio was a little old. Staff was great but if you’re paying for nice and beautiful accommodation, it shouldn’t be a screen saver no matter what time of year

We stayed 2 nights on a weekend. Every morning around 8 am administration decided to send someone with the leaf blower around the property. Imagine paying $300 a night and waking up to this lovely sound outside your window. The temperature in the room doesn't get warmer then 67 degrees, The on going beachside construction wasn't mention anywhere while we booked the hotel. Great location, but anything else, not so much.

Our booking was for 8 nights and traveling as a family with kids. We had booked a queen suite with ocean front balcony. They gave us the lowest possible room with no view of the ocean. The room was very dirty with cockroaches on the floor and in the bathroom and muddy floors. All the furniture was very old and worn out and dirty. The room smelled a lot. We could not even sleep the first night. The front desk staff was courteous but had no solution and alternative for another room. I am not sure how they expect guests to live in such a room on their vacation when everyone wants to have a relaxing time. We had to check out early next morning as they could not offer an alternative room. We have emailed and called the hotel multiple times with no response. Expedia’s customer service was not helpful at all. They did not understand that when we book a package from their website - they do have a moral responsibility to cater to their customers. Not satisfied with the way they handled our request This hotel is really worn down and needs extensive renovation.

Paid extra for ocean front. However due to the stucco balcony railing you couldn’t even see out unless you were stand up and near the slider. And even then we had a building with transformer or whatever directly in our view. We were told no other rooms available when we complained.

The room was nice, not worth the money. Construction going on, it was terrible. No heat in our room, they brought us blankets and finally someone came into fix it. I would never go there again or trust Expedia. They only had one restaurant, and for New Years eve it was the beach bar! How tacky was that with the cold weather. We planned on having a nice dinner for our anniversary, but we had to walk around to find something. It was the worst anniversary and New Years we ever had. They should have offered coupons for local restaurants, or free nights to make up for their hotel being worked on with no direct knowledge And they knew ahead of time on our anniversary, and nothing was done! Oh and then the fire alarm went off so we had to evacuate. I use a walker, which they also knew ahead time, so my husband had to carry down 7 flights of stairs. He is 70 years , I could go on and on, but I settled down and felt like I could write tis honestly and calmly. Yes, I still they should give us two nights, but that is up to management .
