10 hot days in Provence

The house is well located for all the interesting sights in Provence, and Saint Remy is a beautiful town with everything you need day to day. We were there in 40 degree heat so the air con and pool were well used. The house is very well equipped (washing machine, toys/games, comfy beds, seating, kitchen equipment, bikes, etc...) and much more spacious and comfortable than we were expecting.

Lovely property

We were a family of four staying at this villa in St-Remy and overall, we liked it. The house is spacious and reasonably clean and the location, on the outskirts of St-Remy, worked very well for us. There were sufficient kitchen items provided, including spices, oil and leftover dry goods from other visitors. The pool isn't heated so we could not use it in late October but the landscaping was nice and tidy. We enjoyed sitting at the large table for dinner and there were plenty of bathrooms. Although there is no secure parking, we were able to park across the street in an off-street parking bay, which was a bit tight but doable. We really appreciated the washer AND dryer, which were clean and located in the garage area.In terms of drawbacks, I would highlight a musty smell in the house, especially in the ground floor bedroom, which wouldn't air out, so we had to use the A/C for sleeping all the time and that wasn't ideal. At the time we visited, the neighbours to the left were frequently burning something outside, the smell from which made it impossible to open most windows in the morning. I would add more lighting to the dining area. In addition, we had great difficulty getting check-in instructions from the host who did not send any instructions or reply to any of our emails (we had to involve VRBO) up until late afternoon on check-in day. This caused us a decent amount of worry, which could have been avoided. However, on the whole our stay was very good.

Wunderschöne Wohnung

Wir haben dort zwei wunderschöne Wochen im Herbst verbracht. Das Haus ist super schön, sehr gut ausgestattet ( es fehlt an nichts). Sogar FahrrĂ€der sind vorhanden, um in die Stadt zu fahren. Die Kinder haben den Pool genossen. Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist klasse, Das Wohngebiet ist sehr ruhig, ein Parkplatz ist direkt gegebenĂŒber. Die Stadt St.Remy ist ein schmuckes StĂ€dtchen. In der Region gibt es zahlreiche Entdeckungen. Ein Tipp: Nutzt die Wandernöglichkeiten in den Alpillen und besucht die regionalen MĂ€rkte. Die Touristeninfo ist sehr freundlich und viele Infos sind auf Deutsch verfĂŒgbar. Die meisten Homepages der StĂ€dte und Attraktionen sind sogar auf deutsch verfĂŒgbar. Ein rundum gelungener Urlaub geht fĂŒr uns zu Ende, und wir empfehlen das Haus 100% weiter.

Maison trÚs agréable

Het huis was in alles voorzien. Voldoende privé in het huis. Bijzonder mooie tuin met zwembad in perfecte staat. Goede communicatie met de conciërge. Het huis is gelegen nabij het dorp. De elektrische fietsen zijn een meerwaarde. Wij hebben een formidabele vakantie gehad. Wij keren zeker nog eens terug.
