Loved this hotel

Excellent location in downtown Charlotte Amalie. The staff went out of their way to make my feel comfortable & welcome. There's a beautiful pool area & the on-site restaurant was perfect. Nice views from the hotel. You can walk everywhere including down to the harbor or over to the marina. Plenty of dining options in the vicinity including bars & restaurants. I would definitely stay again.

The staff was lovely and very helpful. The cost of the room was great but it turned out to be very, very basic with soft beds not the best for the back. The lights from poolside shone in the windows. The eggs and bacon breakfast was great. If you're happy with a 2-3 start hotel, you'll be fine with this.

I love the service the people who runs it top tier second to none our first baecation they made it one of the best stays ever we didn’t want to leave the bed was so soft call comfortable I forgot to ask them what is the name brand of the mattress the view is second to none my wife loved the room it has everything in it from Free breakfast free Netflix free shampoo free conditioner free soap free lotion also they have about 3 swimming pools we will be returning for another baecation next month for sure and the taxi service comes in 5 minutes and the hotel is 2 minute walking distance to downtown with the world famous Gladys restaurant

Staff is absolutely amazing. Very family oriented. This is always my go to stay of choice. The breakfast is quick and fresh. Make sure you try the passion fruit orange juice.

Property is definitely in need of renovating. Rooms are very and outdated. You must be able to climb steps, lots of steps. There is no elevator. However, service at the front desk and restaurant was phenomenal. Dinner was absolutely fantastic. We had a table of 5 and everyone raved about the food. Shrimp, jerk tenders, lobster, was delicious. Rocky was our waiter and was extremely attentive.

This hotel presents images that are more flattering in the photos than they are in person. The location ins great for easy access to places in town, and it's near to the airport, so ease of getting around in a cab is great. But if you plan on getting a car rental, there is no parking on the streets and you risk damage to the vehicle with the options available on the small roads. It was very disappointing that we had to walk more than 3 flights to our room, as I have a disability and it would have made the stay uncomfortable. The rooms A/C did little to provide a comfortable atmosphere because the doors and windows were not sealed in such a way to keep cool air in. The room was supplied with a phone that did not work. The toilet seat was not sealed so as soon as you sit on it, it was rocking. The shower came on by itself sometimes without anyone turning it on. When we mentioned these things we were told that they were not aware of these things, which I think says a lot about the communication and transparency there. The room appeared to be one that really was not as relaxed as they appear in pictures. We decided to leave after the first night to stay at another hotel for the remainder of our stay. We dealt with Joanne who was very polite and referenced that she and her sister own the hotel. They offered another room, but we were so turned off that we preferred to just leave. Joanne offered to refund the balance to the card my fiancé used to put a $50 deposit when we arrived.
