Luxury Vacation Villa on St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Located on St. Thomas in the beautiful Virgin Islands.
As you open the entrance doors to Moonlight Villa, you are immediately captivated by the incredible view before you. An unobstructed ocean view, that no photo could ever do justice to. The villa is situated in the gated community of Mahogany Run. A neighborhood with steep winding private roads which lead to exquisite private homes nestled in the mountain among lush tropical gardens. Located on the North side of the Island, away from it all, yet, minutes away from beaches, shopping and dining. Moonlight Villa is secluded and offers a calming, serene atmosphere.

The villa is composed of 2 pavilions. The West Pavilion contains the kitchen, living room/dining area, and one king bed room. Sliding glass doors provide a bright living area filled with natural light. There is a view from every angle in the west pavilion. Also in the west pavilion is a full bath and laundry room.

The heated pool is situated between the two pavilions. Across the pool, in the East Pavilion, is the master suite. The master suite is quiet and private. The master suite has a king bed and sitting area. A great place to go unwind. There is also an office space with a desk. A large master bath with an additional ‘dressing room’ behind the master bedroom. This room can easily accommodate an inflatable mattress if needed.
On the lower level of the East Pavilion, there is a large bedroom, with its own entrance, (accessed by an outside stairway from the deck), that has 2 queen-sized beds, a full bath and sitting area. The lower deck has outdoor seating and a protected shady place to enjoy the magnificent the ocean view.

The main level has a private 12 foot by 20 foot pool and an expansive new deck which extends the entire width of the house. This allows for plenty of room for outdoor dining and BBQ, without disturbing the ‘sun worshippers’ lounging by the pool. Outside the west pavilion is a covered area for dining al fresco. Nighttime on the deck is intoxicating. The moonlight and stars literally light up the deck. Outdoor sconces also illuminate the deck, should you want more light. The pool also has a multicolor light which adds a festive vibe. There are Bluetooth mounted speakers on the outside deck.

The neighborhood is a great place to walk and get some exercise. Along your walk you will marvel at the beauty of tropical shrubbery and the unforgettable jaw dropping ocean views. You will encounter some ‘locals’ on your walk (chickens, roosters, iguanas), don’t fret, they wont hurt you! The area is gated and has security patrols so feel comfortable and safe as you explore even if you feel like you are in an isolated area, you are not alone!

The hosts put together a very thorough notebook with check in, check out instructions, information regarding the area and the villa, boat rentals, restaurants, etc. The villa was very well kept. It had all the amenities included. They really did think of everything. Ms. Tarcia was awesome!

We stayed at this home over the Christmas holiday and absolutely loved it. One word doesn’t do it justice. The space is warm, cozy, modern, and relaxed, with incredible ocean views from nearly every angle. The outdoor space is the highlight with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the views. We barely wanted to be inside. The house was spotless and very well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beach supplies were a great bonus. The location is excellent with close proximity to Megan’s Bay and about a 20 minute drive from the airport. The gated community felt very safe, though the cliffside roads and parking can feel intense at first. We quickly got the hang of it and recommend a four wheel drive vehicle for both the property and the island in general. Our on site host, Tarcia, was wonderful and gave a thorough walk through. She and the owners were very responsive and provided a detailed guide with great recommendations for food, drivers, and activities. The three separate bedrooms offered plenty of privacy. While the living area has limited seating, it didn’t matter with such an amazing outdoor space. The photos are great, but the home exceeded our expectations in person. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The property is somewhat difficult to find. We were very grateful for the front gate staff who gave us directions but also drove back a few minutes later just to check and make sure we made it to the house. Also, a four wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended. The driveway is close to a 45 degree angle.The host’s greeter met us at the house and was very helpful in explaining the various features of the house. She also gave great suggestions for locations for food and activities.The house location is beautiful. The ocean views were well worth the visit!

The location of this property and the view it offers is just beyond. You will never get used to the jaw-dropping view that hits you after walking up the stairs from the driveway below. All you see is crystal water in every direction and beautiful islands. Check-in could not have been smoother. The wonderful greeter goes above and beyond to show you everything you need to know, and she also took the time to tell us where to go for groceries, nearby local favorite restaurants, adventures for the kids, and restaurants for special events (we were celebrating a birthday.) The owners have thought of everything and the house has everything you could need from a full kitchen, to shower soap, to pool towels. If the three separate buildings seem a little odd or it’s throwing you off, the location and the view more than make up for it. And you will immediately see that it doesn’t feel unusual when you’re there. You will not regret your stay here.

Wonderful USVI Family Vacation

The property was “as advertised” and then some…simply wonderful! The photos don’t capture the full beauty of it. Be prepared for the mosquitos on the patio as they were out in full force, but possibly, this was due to the time of year. If driving a rental around the island and to the property, be ready for quite the harrowing experience, this was the first time we did so on a visit to the USVI. Mike and Carol are amazing hosts, and their home (and the amazing view) is second to none. Thank you both for making our family trip with 18 and 20 year old kids, such a memorable one.

Amazing home!

Our family had a wonderful stay and didn’t want to leave! The property is beautiful, clean, nicely furnished, comfortable, and the view is incredible. The location is central to many locations on the island and definitely recommend renting a Jeep to easily get around. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on a future vacation.

Relaxing Vacation

We had a wonderful relaxing vacation. The views from the house were unbelievable and the pool was refreshing and in use from sunrise to sundown! The house was exactly as advertised, clean, and relatively well stocked, The air condition throughout the house worked great and kept everyone comfortable and cool. Be prepared to access the house requires traversing a few harrowing turns and a very steep driveway that is difficult to maneuver if your party has more than one car. No more than two cars could fit. We also had a very difficult time finding the home as we were told, after finally managing to find the house after driving in circles for almost an hour, that gps on the island isn't always reliable. Road signs were down or covered by brush and Cell phone reception can also be spotty and we kept getting disconnected from the property manager. I would suggest you get very specific directions to the home, not just the address. Overall, we loved our time there and it is one of the best vacations my family has every taken!

Beautiful home with Gorgeous view!

This home is located high up from the water. The home is three bedroom but all three bedrooms are in different buildings ...two on each side of the pool and the third down on the second deck. We weren't sure about the setup when we got there, but we quickly came to love the setup! You have your own domain and can choose to mingle with the others or not. Most everything in the house is fully updated and I was told a new washer was being delivered the week after we left. You DO have to have ALL-wheel drive to get up the driveway, but if you have that...it is no problem to get up the drive. But you will not be disappointed in renting this property. Also, the towels were high quality...something you rarely find in a rental.

Beautiful location and views. A lovely home, Well appointed, very clean with beautiful views.One downside is the narrow sharp switchback roads leading to the rental property and the very steep driveway. Communication with the owner and greeter was good. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and cooler provided. Thank you!

Wedding/Honeymoon Suites

The property was beautiful and very private with a fabulous view of the Carribean Sea and uninhabited Hans Lolik Island (interesting fact, island privately owned by Larry Page, founder of Google). The weather was absolutely perfect with a high of 82F everyday and a refreshing breeze off the ocean. Our stay included two couples, a bride and groom and their witnesses. Each couple enjoyed the two upper level private suites separated by an open air swimming pool and a massive deck! Roads on the island are very windy and steep, this neighborhood is no exception. We rented a 4 door Jeep which was an absolute must to navigate the steep roads and driveway and provided lots of fun besides! We rented vehicle through Paradise Rental Car located right by the airport and they were awesome as well! If your looking for a relaxed private stay with no so much of the hustle bustle beach side acomodations, this is the place. We loved it!
