This cabin is very cozy! The beds, pillows, and couch are very comfortable! The host was great! It’s was a beautiful day for being March 1st but no chairs at the fire pit. I text the host and they had some delivered. The hot tub was nice and relaxing. On departure, my husband left his wallet there. We were notified and offered to mail it to us. Thanks so much! We will be back!

The location of this cabin is amazing! There's a beautiful rock wall right beside the driveway. It is a 15 minute drive to Natural Bridge Park and also a 15 minute drive south to the entrance of Red River Gorge.

Our favorite part was the trail in the back of the house. If you’re okay with a climb you can make it to the top of the hill with a killer view.

Some initial confusion on finding the place and definitely would not want a low profile vehicle…I was a bit apprehensive with my Navigator! Cabin was pretty awesome but very close to a new cabin being constructed so woke first morning to an insane amount of noise! Hot tub was amazing and loved being able to do laundry with ease. Plenty of room and comfortable. Way better than staying at a hotel!

Multiple spiders, stink bugs, moths and bugs in the house. Photo shows a grill on the porch, not there. There is a tiny thing by the fire pit. Bring your own grilling utensils. Looking to roast veggies in the oven? Bring your own baking sheet. Staying with 6 people? there's only 5 coffee cups. Message states to start a load of towels in wash and pods are provided, empty. No sink strainers. Not relaxing when an Amish crew is taunting your dogs and the driver is parked right next to porch where the hot tub was. No one felt comfortable to hang outside when these people were there. Check out requirements state dishwasher, there is not one.

It was dusty. Cobwebs in the ceilings and windows. Holes in the driveway are rough on the vehicle and unavoidable. Blankets and couch smelled like a dog. Old food found under the couch. Porch and balcony and hot tub area full of acorns and leaves, could have been swept prior to our arrival. Hot tub had a bad odor. Cute cabin that would have been much better if cleaned well.

The cabin is nice however is not the cabin photos listed for the property. Many cobwebs inside property. Decks and steps have not been sweep or cleared from cobwebs for a long time. Photos of street going to property maybe be a highway picture but not at all what the road looks like .

Cousins get away

We loved the rustic feel and the hot tub. We hiked behind the cabin. The driveway was a bit rough but we have a 4x4 truck so that helped. Plenty of room for 5 adult sized people.

A pleasant stay

We enjoyed our stay. The location was very private. There are 46 steps up to get into the cabin. Beware of the upstairs bathroom door. If you pull it shut, you cannot get in or out as the door latch needs adjusted. The fire pit was nice. We would stay again.

Tall Timber

The property was beautiful. You definitely need four wheel drive to get to the cabin. Coming from flat Ohio, the hills were no joke. By the end of our stay we were more comfortable driving them. The tv didn't work but after notifing the manager it was fixed. Great trip.

Friends winter weekend getaway

I’m a KY resident and have been visiting the Gorge for decades. I’ve stayed at plenty of cabins in the area and have wised up to watch these 'builders' have been up to.Tall Timbers is a solid 6. I’d rank it lower if it weren’t for the fact it was a cheap option.Pros: close proximity to the parks tunnel entrance/gas/food, a big covered porch, and a quality hot tub w/ a view.Cons: uncomfortable beds, cold kitchen floor, & a janky interior.
