GRV is on 25 acres, has 5 acres of vines & a branch of the Mitchell River running around it (including walking trail). Near Elkin, NC, GRV offers indoor & outdoor estate wine tastings/sales, music & food trucks in a friendly family environment.

The cabin had everything we needed including coffee! It was so cutely decorated for Valentines Day, super clean and comfortable! Perfect place to unwind and the wines at Golden Road were some of our favorite on the trip. Will definitely stay here again

The hosts were extremely accommodating. The cottage is lovely and very comfortable. Since we were in the area to tour local wineries, the location was perfect. The floor plan is perfect for 2 couples as there are 2 separate bathrooms. The outdoor space is very inviting, especially the fire pits outside the tasting room of Golden Road Winery. BTW - we enjoyed out wine tasting experience at their winery. The village of Elkin is very quaint with some good restaurants. There was a fall festival in Elkin and Mt. Airy the weekend of our visit. You just have to experience the area for yourselves!

Great find

The 2 bedroom cottage was plenty of space for me and my wife ( and our little dog). The cottage is decorated very modern and nice, and very clean, with a great elevated deck overlooking woodlands. The wine tasting room is a very short walk out of the front door. The wines are very tasty ( we didn’t find one that we didn’t like), made with some unique grapes, producing some flavors that we hadn’t experienced in the past. The firepit located in the front yard of the tasting room overlooks the vineyard and the woodlands, making for a very relaxing experience. We loved our short overnight visit and plan on returning .

Friends did a weekend to visit the surrounding Wineries including Golden Road Vineyards. House was on this property so we finished the evening and walked down. Everything was great.
