I do not leave negative reviews lightly, but this stay was unacceptable from start to finish. Communication from the host was extremely poor, and upon arrival we were placed in a unit that did not match our reservation. The bed layout was incorrect, which significantly disrupted our planned couples trip.The property itself was very dated. There were ants throughout the unit, the WiFi did not work at all, and the kitchen was stocked with minimal cookware and basic supplies — far below what would reasonably be expected for a rental at this price point.When we raised these concerns, staff were dismissive and rude. No solution was offered, no refund or partial credit was provided, and we did not even receive a simple apology.For the amount paid, this experience fell well below acceptable standards. Future guests should be prepared. 2stars because there was a shuttle to take us slopeside.

Best overnight stay

This is our first time using the Vrbo app. From the moment we checked in till the moment we left, we had an amazing time.close to town but far enough away at the same time. We had 2 full bedrooms with 2 full baths and complete kitchen. We will definitely be back!

The check in process was awkward. You had to use a phone and wait for someone to come on a tv screen. This was frustrating. I also called multiple times about a clogged toilet and no one came. I then found a maintenance person walking around and he came to help me.

Disclosure

Very disappointed that we didn't find out about access to the Holiday Inn Tahoe Ridge amenities until the day we left. Also, we had a senior citizen with us who could barely manage the steep flights of stairs. Definitely not an ADA compliant property which was not disclosed.

Unit was fine. Very drafty. Salt all over areas that were covered so would end up in unit and all over gear. Biggest issues was hot tubs were not maintained. Called 3 x. Nothing done. Murky nasty water bound to get people sick. I have pictures.

Decent stay but great location

The property was good for a few nights stay, but the property listing disappeared from VRBO so we were unable to see what the initial listing had. Additionally I was charged $90 for unknown reasons - I received no receipt of what this $90 was for. I filed complaints to both VRBO and the QM Resorts (The Ridge Sierra)

Was happy to book this place for winter get away weekend. Safe to drive up in snow condition.

Only 10 mins away from casino/city area. The view from the room is beautiful and breath taking. I enjoyed the hot tub with snow around me. Great experience
