Miss Shirley(kitchen) John and Kevin (hotel maintenance) Were very friendly and helpful. The rest of the staff were extremely unapproachable, not friendly at all. At some points we felt very uncomfortable being witness to a personal dispute with the front desk lady and her relative who lived on location. Police were called to the scene. It seems like this location was occupied by staff members family who lived on premises. Daily hangout and get togethers at the front desk seem common at this hotel. It’s more like the staffs private reside and they just allow you to stay there. But not without angry looks and unapproachable attitudes from the front desk ladies. I do not recommend this location at ALL. PS This is my first bad review to any Hilton I have have ever stayed at. This place shouldn’t hold a Hilton LOGO because it does not meet Hilton Standards.

After the initial check-in which so unlike any other Hampton Inn became hostile, the staff was otherwise fine. I had to get a different room because the odor in the first room Made my eyes water… strong bleach or other cleaner. This odor was strong near the side door to the hotel near the kitchen as well. Hotel located in quiet lovely area just blocks away from the main downtown area. Nice.

I liked everything though carpet is a bit old and needs replacement I didn’t like the staff who was pushing me when about to check out. She kept knocking on the door for me to check out even though it was before 11.00am I don’t understand why she was pushing me like that. I had a disabled son on a wheel chair and he takes time to get ready due to his disability. Other than that I enjoyed my stay
